  1. I finally watched the last episode. The throw down between Kim and Sheree wasn't as exciting as I thought. Although I'm not a big fan of Sheree (it bothers me that she has a sense of entitlement to having her ex support her "lifestyle"), I think Kim is a complete liar. Her stories never add up. I wonder what her deal is.
  2. I'm not an Aruba bride, but I sure do want to go there!
  3. Close - they are in the Voorhees area from what I know. I do however know where a bunch of Philly sports players live in Moorestown... which would be more exciting if I actually cared about sports!
  4. I heard about the boy too. I think that suits her more than a girl. I've really grown to like her since her show. Kendra and Hank live a few towns away from me now. I totally feel like stalking the area... but that would probably be creepy.
  5. I heard they (producers) asked DeShawn not to return because she didn't create enough drama for the show. I am enjoying the season so far. Wasn't a big fan of the first season, thought it was kind of boring. I'm looking forward to the the Kim/Sheree fiasco. Should be interesting.
  6. Is Nancy Drew her real name? I find it highly offensive that she is tainting the name of one of the coolest female characters in literature. What a rat.

I haven't seen that issue of People, but I heard about it when I was looking up articles on this book. I'm going to have to pick up a copy because I want to read the article about the rest of the cast (I assume there is one if they are on the cover!). I'm totally not buying the book because I refuse to give that d-bag any of my hard earned money. I used to feel sorry for him because of his dad taking all his money, but then there was the whole porn fiasco and the selling tshirts to pay for his house and the Celeb Fit Club thing and yeah... so not into the idea of putting money in his pocket. I'll figure out a way to get a copy though!
  8. Ooooh! OK. I know what it is now. Poor Mabel I remember my cat freaked out when I was moving out of my ex's apt. Animals seemed to get very stressed by those changes. I hope once you guys get settled into the new place she'll be ok. You know, since you mentioned this it reminded me of something else. Is Mabel very attached to you? We got our dog Yaz about 2 or 3 months before Aiden was born and she was super attached to me. When I had was in the hospital having Aiden, although I was only gone 2 nights and Brian did come back home and spend the night she flipped out and went through some sort of separation anxiety. I also think she sensed something was changing. She ate through wires, pooped all over the rug, scratched up furniture, etc. Brian crated her but then she started freaking out in her crate so he let her sleep in the room at night and that's when she finished off the job she started. She's a very high anxiety dog. I don't know if Mabel is, but if she tends to get stressed out easily and she's very attached to you, just keep that in mind. I don't know what you can do (besides crating her if you do that), but if you think she might have the same reaction as my dog, then it might be worth thinking about now because I literally came home to a destroyed house.
  9. Behind the Bell: Dustin Diamond Book Cover Unveiled - The Hollywood Gossip I had no idea he was writing a book. Man, he is such a tool, but I'm totally going to read this since I watched that show every freaking Saturday morning.
  10. This sounds really naive, but what are hot spots? Are they just actual parts of her body that are hot to the touch, or is it something you can see?

When Cat said "Kayla and Max" I thought "who the heck is Max?!?" Totally didn't remember him either.
  12. That kiss was pretty steamy! I loved a lot of the old routines that they brought back. It was great to see them again. I just finished watching the show... I have to say I'm slightly bummed because I'm not a big fan of Jeanine's, but I'm just glad it wasn't Evan!!!!
  13. I honestly like Kayla more than Jeanine, but wouldn't be suprised if Jeanine and Brandon end up in the top 2. It makes me mad it's such a popularity contest because when Brandon and Evan were doing their routine, I think it was made pretty obvious that Evan is NOT a strong dancer. That's my only gripe about this show... it shouldn't be America's favorite dancer, it should be the best dancer. DAMN IT!!!!!!
  14. Ugh! That sucks. Can I tell you that the ONE time I went to the ESPN Zone in Baltimore they charged someone else's $68 tab to my card in addition to mine?! IDK what the hell is up with that place but I was so pissed and it took a decent amount of time to get the whole thing straightened out.

That's it...just HOT!!! Would be happy to see him win. Lydia - fell off the crazy wagon... Michelle - love her! I hope she floats her way to the end of the game to win it.... Yes to all of this! Natalie is so freaking obnoxious. I want her to go home already. Lydia is also getting more annoying by the minute.
  16. So many beautiful babies! I can't even keep up with this thread and all the mommies, but I check it out as often as I can.
  17. Congrats and welcome from a former St. Thomas bride!
  18. I did my counseling internship at a center that served victims/survivors of domestic violence so my feedback is coming from the point of view as a counselor who has heard all variations of stories from women who have been through DV. I think you are absolutely awesome for calling the police. So many people refrain from getting involved. Yes, it's true you can't make her leave, go to counseling, or get help. You can't even make her confide in you. But you can call the cops every single time you suspect something going on. Every time the cops show up on their doorstep is an opportunity that you have provided this woman and her baby with help. So yes, continue calling. Even if she stays, even if there are no charges pressed, even if "nothing" comes out of it, KEEP CALLING! The only time I would advise against calling if you feel the violence accelerates immediately after the cops show up. From what you can hear, do you think calling the cops puts her more in danger. If it does then I would be more cautious about when you call them. "basically was like she deserves it, since she stays with him" ---> whoever said that is not only ignorant, but a jackass. No one deserves to be abused. NO ONE! There are many reasons a woman stays with an abuser and we can not judge any of them. Maybe she fears he will become more violent if she leaves. Maybe she fears for the safety of her baby. Maybe he has threatened to kill her if she leaves. Maybe her self-esteem is at rock bottom she hasn't found the strength to leave. Maybe she still has hope things will get better. No one knows her reasons and no one has the right to judge the decisions she has made and on top of all no one should ever imply that someone deserves abuse because they are not leaving. She is doing what she needs to do to survive. I again, think it's awesome that you are willing to get involved to some degree and think you are doing exactly what needs to be done. Of course, please keep your own safety in mind as well.
  19. Hmmm.... I know Brian wants to check out Truama because of his job, but I'm sure he's going to end up hating it like he does every other medical drama (he's always shouting "THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS!" at the tv). I'm definitely watching the new Melrose Place, The Vampire Diaries and... I think that might be all I'm adding.
  20. LOL. The "donkey" name calling always makes me laugh. I am kind of wondering if that whole thing with Joseph was staged. Or maybe not staged, but if he went on the show with the intent of getting in Ramsey's face like that. Some sort of pre-meditated scenerio. It was just so weird.
  21. The Jabbawockeez are amazing. I could just watch them dance all day!

    Uggs

I don't wear Uggs because they are made from sheepskin, but I do have a pair of vegan knock offs that are similiar and I love them. I think they are super cute. I hate when girls wear them with skirts or shorts, but other than that I love the way they look!
  23. Ugh, that sucks! I would have totally cried if a photog basically told me my face was ruining the picture. She doesn't sound professional at all. Even though for me $250 is still a lot of money, I'm glad it wasn't more than that. I'm glad you were still able to make a book out of it but I'm sorry you didn't have a better experience. Maybe you can do another one in the future as an anniversary gift.
