  1. A co-worker asked me this morning about gift-giving, and I don't really know the answer! I told her I'd ask the experts... so experts - here we go! She is attending a wedding at the end of this month. It is a small, intimate beach wedding in Connecticut, with family only, with the exception of my co-worker and her husband. There will be a big reception in August with hundreds of people. So, the question is - when should she bring her gift? To the actual wedding ceremony; or wait until the reception in August

Hi Ania! I'm getting married in Jamaica. There are some (supposedly) gorgeous cliff areas in Negril, Jamaica. I went with Riu because it's quite affordable, but still really nice. There are 2 Riu locations in Negril - Hotels Negril, Jamaica - Riu Hotels & Resorts. Amanda is getting married at one of them if you want more info about it. Another plus is that you can fly direct to Jamaica from New York & Newark airports (not sure what aread you're in). Good luck with the decision - let us know your plans when you figure them out!!
  4. Color tattoos require touch-ups and fade... black & grey do not! I prefer the one-time needling!

I upload them to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket (you would need to register here) and then use the 'insert image' tool on here. When you upload an image to photobucket, it gives you 3 different codes (HTML tag, URL link & IMG code) - for this, you use the URL link.

  8. Our location is in Jamaica...BUT for 3 nights (which is what most of our guests are doing) it's $960/couple in the standard room and airfare is approximately $450 per person - so that's $930pp. I have other friends who are staying 5 nights and with airfare they are paying $2500-ish (per couple) - $1250pp.

  17. I've heard horror stories about communicating with Chandlyn (wedding coordinator @ Riu), but I heard back in her in 6 days after I emailed her. Here's my tip - be nice to her!!! (rocket science, I know!!!) I sent her a thank you follow-up email after she changed some things for me, and she immediately replied thanking me for my thank you. Kindness goes a long way!!
