hi girls i just made this and it came out awesome thought i would share...
1 pkg. chicken apple sausage (remove kasings) med heat
chop up and cook very well in a pan
in another pan chop up the following (1 table of extra virgin olive oil)
- whole sweet onion
- whole yellow pepper, whole orange pepper
- summer squash, zuccini (very small)
- whole cortland apple
-salt,pepper,fennel (in the spice section)
cover and have it on med heat it steams it
cook till it looks see through and veggies are soft then combine the chicken sausage with the veggies to combine the flavors.....so good it is very sweet and carmalized...great fall dish...enjoy girls....oh and 1 chicken sausage is only 4.5 grams of fat remember not to put to much salt in it sausage is salty to begin with
