Happy birthday CASEY!!!!

Hey Martha - the Armour is working ok. My body temp is up which is good. Mainly, they think that the hypothyroidism is related to the cavitation in my jawbone (from the wisdom tooth removal May '07). I'm having surgery tomorrow to get that taken care of (thought I had posted updates of that in this thread already, but guess I didn't. Silly me... so many threads to keep up with!) Sooo I'm reaaallly hoping that this takes care of the hypothyroidism. It may not though - we'll see. I will continue to take the Armour though. I must say I did have more energy after taking it (I also take topically applied iodine, which is supposed to help the Armour work). I do still get weighed down very easily (again, they think this is related to the jawbone cavitation - most likely the toxins have leaked out into my lymphatic system and other various organs) I am on a very low dosage - like .5/grain? I'll say one thing about the Armour - if you're on too much then you'll know for sure!! Let's just say you'll be "running to the bathroom" - haha Have you given any more thought about switching to Armour now that Noah has arrived?

$80?? I swear I just saw it advertised at Target yesterday for closer to $280 or 380...?! If they are only $80 then heck yeah - snag it!

What a fun thread, Abbie Everyone's decorations look great and really put me in the Holiday Spirit! We have a ginormous (like 8-10 foot) artificial tree that my Grandparents gave us last year (they were "downsizing" - now they have a 2' tree lol). It's a great tree, don't get me wrong - but it's just so friggin' HUGE. lol Ah well, good thing we have really high ceilings. It takes so much to decorate it. This year I finally decided to stick with a theme (instead of a hodgepodge, although their is still a lil' of that - not super strict on the theme I guess). We have red lights, a white glittery light up star on top and just bought several sets of pearly-white, silver and shiny/glittery red ornaments. We also have some great ones that people have given to us (since last year was our first year doing our own tree). It took about 3 days of work (putting that tree together can be a tad cumbersome!) but we finished it on Friday and now I love it I can't stop staring at it Actually we haven't even put up all the new "color themed" ornaments up yet. Oh and Jess - is that a butterfly on your tree? I love butterflies! (But NO, this doesn't mean I want a "butterfly adult toy" ) We picked one up yesterday that is about 4 inches long and it "perches" on your tree. That's gonna make me happy (side note: when I was 17 and my Mom passed away, I walked outside the hospital and remember seeing a butterfly and knowing that was her spirit. Since then I see them everywhere. If I ever got a tattoo it would be of a butterfly. K, that was kind of random ) Quote: Originally Posted by JessicaLovesBrian She even asked me once if I wanted the "collectible Hello Kitty 'adult toy'" (aka vibrator) for god's sake! Why It's Hard for Me to be Online at Home....

Ashli - we don't have a cat for the same reason. It would cut our household guest list in half (though some might say that's a good thing... ) Cute kitties! My weenie dog ALWAYS has to be up in my shiznit when i'm on the computer. We call him Laptop (one of his many "aka" names) -
My Dress

Yup, definitely a good sign when you've got a cheesy grin plastered on your face I like the back - I kinda wish mine dipped down some like that. Adds an extra "beachy"/"slightly sexy" element to it -

Hey Kari! I called the gallery and let them know you and Sheldon would be in attendance. I'm hoping we have a decent crowd - there are so many things going on in Dallas tonight it's nuts! As for dress code - we used to say "Uptown Chic" (LOL) when we were located in Uptown. If that makes any sense to you then great! If not, just dress like you're going out for a fun night on the town. I probably would not wear jeans and a t-shirt but other than that, go for whatever you feel like! I'll be wearing a black sweater dress with black tights and tall black boots. If any of you other girls feel like joining in, just come on out! I'm about to leave so I won't be around. At this point I think you're fine just coming without an RSVP... just make sure to ask for me (Jaime or Jaime Lynne) so that I can say HI!

Casey, Kat & Ashley - guess what! I just found out that we'll be having an "encore" to our current show at the gallery THAT night (Thursday the 18th!). If y'all wanna meet at our gallery for a couple drinks and then (maybe) go out for a later dinner or something afterwards that would be great! Just lemme know... unfortunately I'll probably have to work, so I won't be able to get out earlier than 8-9ish (probably go in around 6:30 or so? - not sure yet it hasn't been planned 100%)... Also, my surgery got moved up to Tues instead of Thurs. But not sure I could travel out to Grapevine so soon... I'll let y'all know

Yup, this is pretty much what I am thinking - we'd only do the cake for the pics so I'm not sure... we'll see if we have the extra cash when it comes down to it - otherwise we may just stick to the normal dessert menu. Are creme brulees included in the regular dessert menu?? That's Martin's FAVORITE - he would be so happy Quote: Originally Posted by Duchess We decided to have a cake, but we are also having smores around the bonfire! We just moved galleries and changed names, but we've done this show for 5 years in a row now! It used to be called the "Holiday Miniature Show" (which I liked better ) but not all the artists are able to paint/sculpt "miniatures" - so they switched the title. It is so much fun because everyone is in the Christmas/Holiday Spirit and it's just a great way to end the year!

Hey Casey (and Ashli) - have them post their resumes up on Craigslist! (If they haven't already) Martin looked for a job in Construction Mgmt. for over a year, and then just put his resume up on CL on a whim. Well, that's how he got the fantastic job he has now! Also there are some great social/marketing groups in Dallas. LYNXX is one. I think they're having a party coming up soon to meet people for those purposes... let me check my email... *Edit* Here ya go!!
