"Capturing/Celebrating the moments that matter the most." "Turning life into art" "Life's little moments are our artistic expressions..." "Celebrating the passionate moments in life." Not all of these make sense, just brainstorming.

Did anyone get married 2 years after proposal???
JaimeLynne replied to gettinghitched2010's topic in Just venting or funnies
We got engaged June 10, 2007 (my bday) and will be getting married May 24, 2009. At first it was kind of annoying having to say we're getting married in 2009, but then when it was 2008 we could say "next year" and now we can just say "May 24th"! All in all, I've really enjoyed having a long engagement. -

I'm just now getting caught up to this thread. Congrats to all the newly married LC girls!!!! Pazoop - your pics were amazing, made me tear up actually Time is flying by! We finally got our BMs dresses picked out, and pretty much know what the GMs will wear. Now I'm working on "official" invitations, and OOT bags! Soooo glad I'm only taking 1 online course in school this semester, because this wedding has turned into a full-time job! Martin went out shopping with me on Saturday all day for invites and so he got a small glimpse into the life of a B2B! haha I think he now has a much better appreciation, which is always a good thing! Andi - you're getting so close!

Hotel gift cards as OOT gift?
JaimeLynne replied to Paula0509's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
I think that is a very generous gift! I know I would love to receive that I'd put a note with it saying "this is for a drink of your choice by the pool!" or something like that. I'm sure it will be VERY appreciated!! Maybe you could even work with the hotel and ask how much it would be for a group rate of these... maybe they will sell you drink tickets specifically or something like that. This might work out in everyone's favor - that way there wouldn't be like, say, $2 wasted on the gift card if the drink only cost $8.... does that make sense Anyways, think it is a wonderful and thoughtful idea if you can afford it!!! -
Fun! I've been meeting several brides interested in DWs. Do vendors count also? I just invited a vendor to come join the site a day or two ago... I've never been a Member of the Month! Have come close, but this might be my only chance since there are so many awesome members on here now! lol

I was talking to Martin about this drama earlier and mentioned the same thing about Juan Carlos and what a trooper he was! -

Likewise, if you do not play by the rules and act in a negative manner it can drastically hurt your business. In fact, I *just* told this to a vendor who is currently in the process of joining (I recommended it to her because I like her work and she has been pleasant to work with). This is a powerful place/group, like it or not! You will receive back what you put out 10,000x (or however many members we have on here! ). Oh, and Heather - KUDOS to you, doll for sticking to your guns. You're leading the way! It is SO important to receive honest and thoughtful reviews, whatever they may be. -
Btw, Pamelia just emailed me to express her gratitude - she said lots of girls from this forum have been visiting her website after viewing this thread. So far she has been such a sweetheart and easy to work with. I'll write up a vendor referral on here after I receive my accessories (which I'm sure will be fab!).

LOL!! I actually feel kind of bad laughing at that though, because the lady who does this stuff said she designed a pair for a girl with a prosthetic foot! She said this after I had to send her a pic of my feet because I was trying to explain that my big toe is like .5 - 1 size larger than the next toe and she thought I meant smaller... annnnywayyyys... lol

It calms me down without drugging me out. The perfect combo. Cool, you never know - that freaks some people out so thought I'd tread lightly I know I will definitely be taking either Ativan or Propranolol on our wedding day, and FI will probably be too! We are both gonna be so nervous/excited, and I want us to be able to be in the moment as much as possible and not stammer over everything (I don't really like being the center of attention!). -

Yeah, I never thought martin would either! In fact, I was dead set against getting a new set at all! Until I saw these... they are so beautiful, much more colorful in real life - they look like little works of art, which is right up our alley!! The platter is even more beautiful, it also has butterflies I love the old stamps and scripture on them too We are putting them over cobalt blue chargers, so it makes them more contemporary (definitely our style) -
ARgh! Why is travel from the US so expensive??
JaimeLynne replied to jennierin's topic in Just venting or funnies
that's what i was thinking. they don't make any money off of booking air, but maybe one of them will feel sorry for you and help out of the goodness of their heart -
I just picked out my accessories to go with my dress! I placed the order today so I haven't received them, but here are pics off the seller's website (she is SUPER friendly and easy to work with btw, AND her stuff is on sale right now! Beaded Foot Jewelry | designed & beaded by Pamelia). Reminder, this is my (unaltered!) dress: Foot Jewelry, Pearl & Swarovski Crystal (going barefoot! Yeah!!): Cascade Pearl & Swarovski Crystal Earrings: Now I just need to get a Swarovski hair comb to go in my loose bun and I'm finished with accessories! Yay! This is the fun stuff
