  2. Awesome, thanks so much! I'll have to remember that whenever the planning gets going.

I'm planning on getting married in RM as well, but not until Summer of '09!! (I can't imagine what the prices are going to be like then...) So I will keep checking this thread to see how it works out for you. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
  4. Cute dress - great price too. Sorry I don't have any advice as far as buying on line... Don't worry though, someone on here is sure to help you out!!! The only thing I could think of is to do a search on this forum for "buying dress online" or something like that. Maybe there is already a thread out there on this... Good luck and don't worry, it will all work out!

Is Lulu's a vintage store...? It seems like I've heard that name before... or maybe I'm just thinking of Lulabee's Antiques...

Matt *Doh* guess I was a little late on this...
  7. I would agree with going through a Travel Agent - as someone else stated, the host of these forums, Tammy, is a TA. If you don't have someone else in mind, maybe you could try going through her.

I'm going to have to check them out - that would be great for a Trash the Dress Session.
  9. Rachelle, you did look beautiful! I love your dress!

We picked that name out after Flash's sister Denali passed away a little over a yr ago. Denali is the Indian name for Mount McKinley. Martin came up with that - isn't that sweet?
  13. We must've been typing at the same time - I see you are from Dallas also! We should have a Dallas BDW get together sometime.
  14. Hi Morgan, welcome! I'm also from Texas and an "unofficial bride". I do know that my bf has bought the ring though, so we're sort of in the same boat - waiting. I live in Dallas, how about you? We are planning on getting married in Playa del Carmen at one of the Iberostar resorts. The one in particular that we are thinking about is called Iberostar Tucan and it is nicknamed "The Jungle Hotel" because it surrounds an actual jungle with monkeys, parrots, etc! The beach there is supposed to be wonderful, and the prices affordable (It's AI as well, app. $850/person for 4 nights/5days INCLUDING airfare). Btw, if you are located near Dallas we found a great Travel Agent here that specializes in Destination Weddings - the agency is called Tiki Trips - Tiki Trips - Unique Vacations to Exotic Destinations. We're going to the Tucan in Playa for a site visit (before we're even engaged, ha!) June 9th-13th. Very excited! Anyways again and let us know if you need anything!

If you're paying someone over a thousand dollars to work for you (or whatever it may be), isn't that tip enough?? I don't get why you would tip over that...
