I have an uncle who literally took a THOUSAND photos (most of them useless LOL!), but I have them all on CD and am sure I can find photos of almost anything you are after.... (Except Plantation and Seagrape reception photos, dont have any of those! )

I believe these (attached) are the vows for the civil ceremony. I'm not sure if Chandlyn emailed these to me a long time ago or if I got them off of BDW! LOL! Anyhooo, I think every Minister puts their own spin on these, because ours weren't exactly like this, and there was much more to the ceremony than this as well. The DJ at our resort had a great selection of music, including lots of the top dance/hip-hop/pop hits right now! I would say they have everything North American DJs do!

Sorry for the bad scan - but this is the little info sheet you get about the restaurants at the Riu Ocho Rios: Now that I think about it, we never ran into any troubles with footwear, and they dont specify any footwear requirements on this sheet. You'll see under dinner, they have little pictures on the left - they mean "No Shorts", and "No Tank Tops".

The company that operates the water sports for the ROR is called Scuba Caribe. I checked out their website and they have an offering of "Sunset Cruise", I would email them to see if you could organize something with them... Cape Verde, Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Mexico diving with Scubacaribe

The dress code for walking around in the evenings is whatever you want it to be! But I do notice a lot of ladies like to wear dresses (including me) in the humidity because they are just more comfortable to wear in the heat and humidity than shorts! I would bring a lot of cute breezy dresses and/or skirts! Some of the restaurants do have dress codes and they are more strict with the men - long pants and close-toed shoes. I will try to find a thing I brought home with me that outlined the dress code for the different restaurants and post it later today after work.

I've never seen the poolside reception, I didnt even know it was an option! I'm not sure how that would work!

I would like to calm you one more time! We actually arrived on a Saturday and were married on a Tuesday! Everyone said this was fine. I think they count the Monday and the Tuesday as the 2 days and it was no problem. Or maybe they count the Saturday and Monday, I'm not sure! But I know that I'm married and had a wonderful wedding, so you can definitely arrive on a Saturday as well!!

I agree, I dont think the men will be underdressed if they stick to their wedding attire (including your groom!)

I do understand your concerns, I had some of the same! But when I was there, in the entire week, I only saw two other weddings, even though I am sure there were 3 every day. The resort is very big and we were always busy having our own fun that I was never in the same area as a wedding, even though I would have liked to have watched some more! Fridays and Saturdays seem to be the most in-demand days for weddings. Our wedding was a Tuesday and there was only one other wedding that day, earlier in the day, and I never saw them at all. We had the Mammee Bay restaurant all to ourselves. I think you are still booking far enough in advance that you should be able to book the receptions the way you like. Get your travel agent to confirm that you will have availability at Mammee Bay or Plantation if that's what you will like! I would recommend going for a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday wedding because they seem to have more availability. Chandlyn really does an excellent job of making every wedding detail and reception detail personalized and you honestly won't even notice anything else on your big day! You will be having way too much fun!! Hope that helps!
