Hi! Congrats! I was actually at the RIU during your wedding and I have to admit....the reception on the beach was BEAUTIFUL!!!! I had planned on my wedding being on a sat (jan 26, 200 so that was not an option. I only have great things to say about the RIU!! Congrats again!!!

Hello Everyone- I haven't been on here for FOREVER! Been so busy with wedding plans and my 1 year old son.....excuses, excuses I KNOW!!! I have tried looking through various threads for some info, but can't find what I'm looking for... Does anyone have any type of rough estimate or a price sheet that will tell me what I will owe to the hotel when I get there for my wedding? We are doing the free wedding package. I get married in 2 weeks!!!! And we're just trying to figure out our finances beore we go. Thanks so much for any help you can give me. I will post pics and a review when we get back. We're having our rehearsal dinner the night before (Friday). I have talked to Chandlyn about this and we are doing a "run through" of our wedding with her and my wedding party @ 6pm and then we will all meet for dinner at 6:30 pm. She is just pushing a bunch of tables together for us (I think at the buffet dinner) and then we wil all go to the beach party after. I think if you have a small group you can go to one of the restaraunts, but since my group is large we will just do the buffet with the tables together. I have invited everyone to join for dinner, but since most people are arriving that day, we'll give a final count to her when we get there.

Hi Girls! Haven't been on here in awhile! Trying to catch up. So far I have great success with Chandlyn (and her asst) getting back to my email within 1 day. Thank goodness. I emailed her about cakes too. She told me it is a sponge cake and you can have either chocolate or vanilla. I do have to mention though that I know someone who got married at the Riu in July and she suggests (and so does my TA) to ask for the cake with NO RUM. I guess they really soak it in the rum and is not tasty.

ok...got the templates. You used these as invites right? next question....did you make these for just the people that are def going to your wedding? i know i should send out formal invites to everone regardless if they are going to attend right? I'm still so confused about the logistics of a DW. Bear with me with my million questions!

Great! Thanks for the info. I just send Lee's an email. I'm thinking this will work out better....esp since I have a 1 yr old son. This way if he act up, no one else has to be bothered by it. You girls are GREAT!! Thanks for the info I have gotten so far!!!!
