    It definitely depends on WHERE you're going. There are parts of the beach which are very rough because of hurricanes, but there are parts where it is powder soft and beautiful. Are you looking for a beach at a resort or at a different reception location?

    I get 6 weeks paid and then I can take an additional 6 weeks not paid. I know a lot of people who have to take it all not paid though. I think I'm one of the lucky few.

    Oh my goodness! These look SO amazing! Aren't you glad that you did them yourself instead of dealing with a stupid place that wouldn't give you want you wanted? Especially when they turn out this awesome! You should be so proud of yourself!

    hmmm, well that's a good style! Everyone wants pink highlights! In fact, when I was a little girl and people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, the answer was a Barbie with pink hair. So basically, you are my idol right now!

    Welcome Sara! Tulum is a beautiful place! I had my trash the dress pictures done there. Gorgeous. however, I understand about expenses. Since you live in California would Cabo be a cheaper option for you?

    Oh. my. god. I had completely forgotten about the fingernail stuck to the boob! How hilarious is that?!?! yeah, the cranberry juice was so funny. I hope you can see the red in some of the photos! really, you all were so awesome to work with. The only problem is that you all were TOO awesome to work with and now we have to go through a million pictures!

    Well, he should know what it feels like to be chased by the poparazzi... since people were asking us who you were and how you are famous! LOL. I suppose the fact that you guys really do look like you could be famous added to the craziness! If I would have been quicker on my feet I would have made up a story on how you were the next bachelor or some reality tv show. How hilarious would that have been!

    We weren't outside for too long, and the happiness and love between the couples made it so you didn't realize the cold TOO much! it was a lot of fun! I hope all the couples had a good time too!

    Honestly, I was SO freakin' tired from the two days that I got home last night and I went straight to bed!! My poor husband, lol! Hopefully myself and the other two ladies will start editing really soon and the girls will have their pictures within two weeks. Then hopefully they'll share some of them with you guys!

    Nope, we weren't able to book the wedding until after our trip was booked either. And so I feel your pain. Don't worry, you'll be able to book very soon. When we got married we did have the gold wristbands. It really didn't mean much honestly. Perhaps they were nicer to us? Not sure. I know that we were able to use the premier lobby computers for free... however we had premier suites anyways so I don't think that had anything to do with the gold bracelets.

    I chose to tell my girls, and for a few reasons. #1 I didn't want them to worry about it (scheduling or money) #2 I didn't want them to waste their money before the trip on a mani or pedi and #3, it gave them something to get excited about. Everyone loves being pampered!

    Ok, according to our “Gemologist” here is the official response: Lab created stones DO have the same properties, and would not fade. The only stones that would fade would be either Kunzite (which can fade under any light), and Pink Topaz. The pink topaz is just “coated” with a substance, and if you clean it, or take it to a jeweler and don’t tell them and they steam or ultrasonic it, the coating may come off.

    You actually aren't supposed to take sand from one country to another... however if it's colored sand I think they realize that you didn't just scoop sand out from the beach! So you should be okay. They just don't want types of creatures or fungus being transfered from one beach to another.

    I have seen those video cameras on theknot.com... not sure if they still sell them.

    We added all kinds of toys to the kids bags. Beach balls, squirt guns, pool toys, but the ONE thing I wish i would have done for the toddlers... SIPPY CUPS!!!
