Yup, we got married on the beach. it's actually located right behind the 24 hour snack bar and the activity pool. In fact, our guests all met at the 24 hour bar before heading down. It's the hammock location and although it's on the beach, it's by the rocks. so instead of hearing speedo clad tourists in the background, you hear waves crashing on the beach. It's very nice!

has anyone got married legally after their DW? my guy is wondering what our parents will think if they know our ceremony isn't legal if we asked them to come all that way.
Now, we did NOT have to do anything with our birth certificates. We simply had our passports and tourists visas and that's all we needed. It might be different coming from Canada, but I'm not sure. But honestly, it was SO easy to get legally married down there.
