Tulum is typically cheaper as it is the oldest of the resorts. It also doesn't have very many suites.
So unfortunately I have heard that there is no longer outside photographers allowed at the resort but I can't seem to find any information as to whether Conrado Gonzalez is still the resort photographer? I am curious what kind of experience the previous brides had with the resort photographer?
Conrado is no longer the photographer
I asked Claudia Rodriguez to be our photographer prior to finding this out and offered to check her in so we could still use her, she said that she was not willing to go against resort policy. Any suggestions?
I would HIGHLY suggest you bring your own photographer. Fly them down and have them stay at the resort as your guest. This is still an option and will give you the most bang for your buck. It sounds expensive, but I promise you, it's not. Wedding photos are an investment and will be all that you have to show people of your wedding day. It's really not a place to cut corners or to pay $1000 to get less than 50 photos from an undertrained resort photographer. PLUS, if you fly in your own photographer you'll typically get up to three days of coverage and the full resolution disc of all the images.
Also, did anyone have live music for their ceremony? What did you think? Would you change anything?
I did not. I had it for the cocktail hour, however I believe the price is the same. I want to say it was around $500 They were very good though, and my guests loved them!
haha. I know this is a lot.
Can't wait to get to know you all

I hope that helps Angelina!
Oh yes, and myself and all my bridesmaids got our hair done at the spa and they all turned out just lovely. They have weird ways of doing the hair, I will promise you that, but in the end it looked just like the photos and stayed in all day.
