    Yeah, we had an excursion too, so we emailed her ahead of time, and then double checked when we checked in. It wasn't a big deal.

    If you want to wear shoes, I would highly recommend you do a wedge. That will be much safer to walk in than a regular heel. Swankster, so glad you finally heard from her! And I can't believe how close you are to your wedding! That's nuts!!

    Honestly, that Destiny looks AMAZING on you! It's VERY flattering and just gorgeous! I think you should maybe look into the knock offs? Then it might be in budget!

    I did post on BDW from the golden club computers during my wedding week. I had forgotten a groom/mom dance song so I came on here for ideas!

    Honestly, I'd probably bring one. That way you can easily communicate, you can visit them in person, possibly do an engagement session, do all your in-person ordering, etc. Plus, then you have them for more than just a few hours. I would definitely go that route.

    Echoing what MexBride said, Moon Palace is not in Tulum... actually quite far north of it. So if being in or near Tulum is important to you, the Dreams Tulum would be your resort!

    I agree that I like #1 the best, but I also agree that looking at models in the dress doesn't help with that decision. It's really about how each dress looks on you. Have you tried either of these dresses on?

    I have been looking at travel prices from Chicago as well, and they are going up. Hopefully they'll come down once we get into summer, but while people are planning summer vacations and such it's usually high. Depending on how many seats are left, it might just get higher

    Hmmm... anyone still interested in this? A bunch of us seem located a little north of Milwaukee. We could meet at the Milwaukee Ale House in Grafton? Or we could do Milwaukee and meet somewhere like the Iron Horse Hotel? They have a really cool bar with some great food. Anyone interested?

    I'm sure those would be cheaper. It was all because of the stupid orchids. I wanted the flowers to match their dresses... but not clash with my flowers. So i went with beautiful white orchids. So beautiful... but NOT cheap!!! With tropical flowers you should be fine.

    I got wrist corsages for my mom's. It really is hard to pin a normal one to a sun dress. So they did wrist ones. I had roses and orchirds in mine, so they were kind of expensive actually. $30 or $40 a piece. MUCH cheaper if you just do roses.

    I was very happy with how my makeup turned out. I didn't let them use their eyeliner or mascara on me, however. I don't wear makeup, so I was afraid it'd be too "not me" and also, that's gross... they use the same bottle for everyone.

    I got mine done in the spa at the resort. They don't do that any more?

    For the record... they actually didn't play my songs in the order on the CD! LOL! And I did mention it to my father right before we went down the aisle, but really, I didn't care. So just as a warning, I wouldn't put extra songs on there.
