  1. At least you found out now, when you have the possibility of moving everything back. Good luck!
  2. You should probably make it double sided. One side have US to pesos and on the other side have pesos to US. That way if you are at a small restaurant or shop and they have prices in pesos, you won't get ripped off.
  3. I would think a nice tan bride would photo better than a sunburnt one!!!
  4. I'm afraid my father is the same way. He went to the DR once and got really sick (he drank milk), ever since then he says that Mexico is this terrible place where we will all die of stomach issues. He is ridiculous! I think the key is to remember you are there for YOUR day and I think he'll remember that too. There are some excursions on websites like Welcome to ShoreTrips® - Your Guide to Shore Excursions or Cancun Discounts - Cheap Cancun Tours, Hotels, Activities, More..
  5. HI Cooper. Your photos on your blog are beautiful. Nice work.
  6. I'm sorry! I get the red x of death so I can't see it. I'll have to view it from a different computer. I'm so sorry!
  7. For claudia is there a limit to the amount of photos you get or is it how ever many she snaps in the hour?
  8. Could you post a picture when you actually get it? I'd like to see the aqua color since they don't have any color swatches on-line... or did you find one?
  9. What about adding a price range? I don't have a photographer, so I think it'd be great information if you could do ranges (since some won't feel comfortable listing exact price) but doing like $3000-$4000 or something like that?

The dress is by Forever Yours style #76208 in aqua. We got it for less than $100 from Wedding Dresses, Prom Dresses, Wedding Accessories at BestBridalPrices.com Did you try this dress on somewhere before you ordered them or did you just trust they would fit right? I'd really like to order from a website like this, but I'm afraid I won't like them.
  11. Thanks for posting the cake prices. Although I'm not planning on doing Dreams, it at least gives a general idea of the prices in that region! Thanks!
  12. I would ask them to come. They don't need to buy you a second gift, but to be there for support is always nice! I know I need support when surrounded by my crazy family!
  13. I would say less is more. And your dress looks so beautiful; you probably don't need a necklace. But, like everyone seems to be suggesting, I'd take it all with you and try it on. Or do a test run with your dress, hair and jewelry with your BMs.
  14. Glenda that dress is beautiful! Are you going with the red sash or a white one?
  15. That's not ghetto. That's old tradition. They actually say that hand delivered invites are more personal. Plus, then you don't have to worry about weight. There is good news for those sending 2 ounce invites though, the rates will go down to 58 cents.
  16. I think it's still in the approval stage, but sadly, $.41 stamps here we come
  17. I LOVE the fans! What does the front neckline of your dress look like. I do agree that perhaps the earrings and the necklace don't go together, but maybe you don't need a necklace?
  18. Welcome! Let us know if you need any help with anything.
  19. Hi Catherine! What resort are you planning on getting married at?

Welcome Andrea! I hope you find everything you need on this site! And don't be afraid to ask for advice.
  21. This is very late in the thread, but my sister had T-shirt favors for her wedding. They read something along the lines of "I went to ___ & ____'s wedding and all I got was this losey t-shirt." There was a stick figure picture of a bride and groom on it. Everyone LOVED these! In fact, we are coming up on her 3 year anniversary and I still see people wearing the t-shirt!
  22. I'm a little sad that you have thrown your $3,000 out the window. I think we all could come up with GREAT money saving tips! I don't know all the resorts, but let's just consider the one I do know a little bit about (Gran Bahia Akumal). Ok, so you aren't including the hotel & airfare, so we'll skip that. Now, Save the Dates, Vista Print $4.21 includes shipping for 25 of them. Now, add an envelopes ($4.99 for 25) and stamps ($9.75) and we are at approx $20 for Save The Dates. Invites, I would say you could do for $400... if you do simple ones. The wedding package is $1380 and since it's an all inclusive, the dinner reception is included. Now, you can rent the disco for $150 an hour if you'd like, but there are plenty of places that have live music at night, so it's not neccesary. Photos start st $540. For all the blood work and translations it's an additional $180. Next you need a wedding dress. David's Bridal is a great solution. They have gorgeous dresses and plenty for under $500. This takes you to around $2800. That leaves you $200 to get additional flowers for BM? to get a mexican guitar trio? to get a DVD of your wedding? upgrade the photo package? do OOT bags (since you only have 10 people this could be very cheap)? I really think you could do it for $3000 if you planned it right. And since we all have done a lot of research we could be a great resource on finding great prices, free shipping, all kinds of things. Good luck!
