  1. OK, I like both #2 and #3. However, I would say number two. First of all, you look beautiful in it. And second, that's the dress that you look happy in! My mom can always tell if I like something by the way that I stand and the expression on my face. In number two you look great!
  2. You could incorporate some lovely flowers and a veil and you're good to go!
  3. Jill, if you look closely you can see a second button hole... I think

Welcome Karin! I hope this site gives you some really great ideas and helps you narrow down your search!
  5. Tammy, I must say I can relate. My sister was the same way when I built my house. She's older than me, and I think she gets jealous easily. I think the fact that I reached some milestones before she did bugged her, really bad. She also wanted a DW but couldn't afford the AHR and her FIL's weren't too keen on the idea, so she didn't have one. So, maybe your big sister is just jealous of you. Hopefully she'll be like my sister and realize that her life is pretty amazing and that there is nothing to be jealous of. Everyone lives their own life. Good luck

Welcome fellow Wisconsinite! I hope your planning goes well!
  7. Wow. I'm really sorry. Not good, not good at all. Hopefully they will eventually see what they are doing to your FI and learn to be nicer! Jeeze! Not to mention, theoretically, two incomes can pay of debt quicker than one. And, rather than flushing money down the toilet by renting, you now are earning equity. Another way you will be able to pay off your FI's debt. It's just a terrible situation and I'm sorry it has to happen to you.

    Welcome Sherry! Happy planning!
  9. You earn points by posting messages, pictures, links. And then to open attachments it usually costs 50 points. If I had any points myself, I'd donate them to you... but sadly I don't. Hopefully someone will be able to, otherwise, start posting!
  10. OK, I like cheap things... although I probably would spend more on an occasion such as yours... but this dress is cute from Target for $20 http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0...V44858949_.jpg I must say though, They sure do have a lot of moo moo dresses out right now! Yuck! No wonder we go to more expensive stores!
  11. I really like the Aqua Babydoll Lace dress. I think it's really pretty. Would never work on me, since I'm tall, but I like it!
  12. Welcome Jacki. I'm so glad that you found the man of your dreams! Like Ann said, these ladies (and gents) on the forum know A LOT and will definately help you find the perfect local. In addition, everyone has great ideas for receptions and invitations. I think you'll find everything you need right here. And if you don't, just let us know and I'm sure we'll come up with something
  13. I don't like the first one. It looks really childish to me... not sure why. The second one I think is very pretty, however I can see through it, and I don't think that's the look you are going for.
  14. I like the top shelf comment. That's really funny!
  15. I also think it would be VERY magical to get married at Disney and with a princess type dress, but certainly not the yellow/blue/red dresses that they wear in normal day to day characterness!
  16. I feel the same way as Christine. I actually have endometriosis and I have had it since I was 14, so I'm REALLY scared about not being able to have babies. And then last weekend my sister made a comment about me being on fertility drugs and having seven babies at once! Scary!!!
  17. How sweet! I love it! And yes, pictures are great!
  18. Congratulations!!! I'm so jealous (I don't have a ring yet ) Just a warning, when ever the idea of a destination wedding is thrown around, a lot of people say "but then grandma won't be able to come..." Just remember, it's YOUR day. And you can always include grandma in other things, like dress shopping or something like that which will make her feel involved. Good luck!
  19. Welcome! I'm not getting married in Ocho Rios, but I've been there on a cruise. It doesn't really count for anything at all, but at least I've been there! Happy planning!
  20. Congratulations Marla. That sounds great! And I've been reading reviews of weddings at that same location and sounds very wonderful!
  21. I think maybe something like this would work... Although a formal inviation is to follow, a preliminary RSVP is requested by ________, 2007. We’re in! ____ No. Persons _____ Flight No ____ Arrival Date ____ Departure Date ____ It’s a possibility, but we’re not sure yet ___ Sorry, no can do ____
  22. Just an idea, is you could mount a piece of paper on one side of the invitation with corner punches to hold the inserts in place... kind of like this... http://www.oliostyle.com/wedding/ini...initials_4.jpg Except, using a corner punch will only cost you about $7 TOTAL as opposed to having to by photo corners. Stampin UP has the one I'm using. It's called a Simplicity Corner Slot, it's $10.95, but you can find them at craft stores for cheaper. So, just punch the corners and then slide the enclosures under and they will be held nicely in place.
  23. If they are planning on attending your wedding, could you possibly plan an excursion for them? Or something for your trip? That way, you could go cheaper if you chose, yet it'd be personal because they could have a "night out together" or something like that. A second honeymoon type thing?
  24. Welcome Carrie! I'm sure we'll all be able to gain from your experiences. Please make sure to write a review!
