  1. I don't think that there is really a rule regarding uneven bridal parties. Why not have 4 on one side, and 4 on the other? Put one male on each side to partly balance it out.
  2. OK, I stole this from someone... and I'm sorry if it was any of you! But, I plan on going to the beach, writing a number in the sand with a stick, taking a picture of it, framing it... and ta da, table numbers. Photo.doc
  3. Welcome! You are going to have some amazing ideas by the time your wedding rolls around!
  4. I actually did the bath salt idea for office friends christmas gifts. I put the bath salts into plain glass ornaments and tied a ribbon on them. Very cute and exteremly cheap
  5. I hope you have better luck than me. My boyfriend and I picked out my ring in July of last year... so sad.
  6. I vote for number one. I think they are very similar to your shoes, and they look more sparkly to me... I'm all about the sparkle! But, three is nice too.
  7. I just had a great idea... for myself at least! I was planning on doing an OOT bag filled with sun tan lotion, chapstick, things like that... and I was going to include a Nalgene type bottle. Well, what if I made the Nalgene bottle the bag? I just stuffed it full of stuff! Then, number one, I'm limited in the amount of things I can buy. And number two, less stuff to travel with!

Ha! I just looked at your ticker and it's 1-1-1!!! That's fun!
  9. I personally don't find it necessary for families to contribute if they don't want to. HOWEVER, to me, that means that, number one, they don't end up on the invitation, they get a very limited amount of seats for their invitees, and they really have to keep their mouths shut about decisions. But, that's just my opinion!
  10. Welcome! I will be completely useless to you in regards to your destination... but welcome anyways! What plans do you have so far?
  11. Welcome Chris! Where in Playa Del Carmen are you thinking?
  12. Welcome! I'm glad that Sol has gotten you to join as well. Now perhaps you guys will post double the recommendations!
  13. Congratulations Melissa! I can't wait to hear all about it! I hope your pink toe nail polish covered all your bruises!
  14. I walk every day for lunch. I wonder how weird I would look doing these things... in the middle of the cemetary where I walk!
  15. So funny that I think of this crap when I'm not even engaged, but a must have shot for me will be the bridal party A. running along the beach, B. Jumping all together, C. bridal party jumping while we're kissing.
  16. I'm glad your STDs went over well! Now, as for the real invitation. I know a lot of ladies are sending thiers out about 4 months in advance. That will allow you plenty of time for them to RSVP so you can do such projects as OOT bags if you'd like. So, that means that it's a good time to purchase invitations. From what I've read and what I've designed, there are a bunch of things you CAN include in an invite. First off, accomodations, travel agent information, wedding website information, welcome dinner info, RSVP to wedding and to AHR (if applicable) and a AHR card. Obviously, you don't need to include all of these things. If you are going to make your own, there are many designs that are very simple for the "noncrafty" person, and then there are some more difficult ideas. It depends what kind of a look you are going for. Let me know if you have any questions or need any suggestions
  17. Jess, I love it. I think if things were spread out a little further it would look even better... but I understand that you probably don't want to buy a larger table just to show us a picture! I really like everything about it.
  18. Amazing! I love the sneak peek! I can't wait to see more and get a review. It looked just awesome!

  21. I love it Susan. Congratulations again!
  22. Welcome aboard! I agree with Tammy. I would focus on getting your dress ASAP. Second, let's think invitations. Are you a DIY person, or will you be ordering them?
