  1. I thought you had to take it to the mexican consulate? "Legalization of matrimony in the country of origin. You will have to legalize your marriage license (Apostille). We recommend you to check with your local offices if the legalization can be done by the Mexican Embassy or Consulate in your country or if they require to get it done here in Mexico. Cost for the legalization is not included in the wedding package."
  2. I think you'll look perfectly fine. Plus, you'll be outside in the sun, so I don't think your off-white will be noticable.
  3. It sounds like you have a dry socket. For most people, that'd be the only explanation for that much pain 5 days later. you should go see your doc.
  4. Welcome! What kind of projects do you have left?

Welcome! I can't wait to hear more about your location.
  6. You are welcome. That should save you A LOT of money if you were planning on paying $1000 for those. Maybe you'll be closer to $200-$300 now!
  7. OK, when you downloaded the font did you put it into your fonts folder on your computer? I might have had to restart my computer... i don't remember!
  8. The shimmer in the orange could be difficult to find. This website has good cardstock at nice prices though. Paper - Cardstock, Colored Paper, Photo Paper, Translucent - ActionPaper.com Not orange metalic though. Boo. Otherwise if you just wanted normal cardstock Stampin' Up! Global has a good range of colors to choose from.
  9. They have a font on dafont.com which is hibiscus flowers. So, in Microsoft WORD you'd insert a Text Box. In that box you'd type your pretty flower letter (there are many variations to choose from). Because it's a font you can have it be whatever color you'd like. After that you can move it around wherever you'd like, size it pretty... and you're golden! I could help you if you needed it.
  10. I've heard of beatiful cakes which are made to resemble the bride's dress or something like that being the inspiration for the wedding... but not a cake that looks like a birthday cake! Not saying it wasn't a cool cake, I just didn't understand the need to show it to every vendor!
  11. Alright, not sure if you'd want to... but you might be able to easily recreate something similar. I don't know how I'd do the branches... but the background flowers are easy peasy. Just buy the cardstock that you want them on and find a good printer... if you'd be interested.
  12. I like both dresses. Do what will make you feel the best
  13. See, this is why I like it when people post their stories! So darn cute! I love it!!!
  14. No wonder you love it! It's beautiful! Ok, have you tried the dress on? If you have and you love how it looks on you... then buy it. If you haven't tried it on... call around girl! I think many times dresses look awesome on the hanger (as this one obviously does!!!) but sometimes when they are on they look completely different.
  15. Welcome! I think planning early is great! And like someone suggested, it gives you plenty of time for site visits! A vacation and a great way to see where your wedding will be!
  16. umm.... not sure. I've seen it a lot on this post though. Tammy knows the Passport department pretty well... TAMMY! WHERE ARE YOU?
  17. You can choose to do the exciting stuff or the nasty eat bugs, put your head in a cage with trantula spiders stuff. We signed up for the adrenaline stuff. It was awesome! Oh, and at MGM I highly recommend the Areosmith(sp?) rockin' roller coaster. AWESOME! But, try and sit front row if you can. AMAZING! Oh, and keep your head back from the very beginning. You'll understand if you ride it.
  18. I suggest, like Christa that you set a limit. You can then budget around that. So, say you what to spend $15K, well then you will have to guestimate on certain things but as you spend, if you go over your projected budget in one area, lessen the budget for another. How many people are you inviting? I don't think $1000 is all that bad. I know a lot of us are making our invitations ourselves... thanks to clever ideas from people who really know how to make them Could that be an option with the design that you love? Maybe you should post it and we can help you decide!!!
  19. Actually, I was thinking about rentals, and since you'll have it for a whole week, it might be cheaper to buy one! And Tammy is correct. Most people aren't wearing suits, if they are then they are linen suits which you could definately purchase for cheaper.
  20. the cake with the chocolate circles? If so, I was laughing so hard! What an idiot! First off, I expected her to pull out a picture of this gorgeous wedding cake... and when she pulled out that picture I laughed so hard. I'm like why not just say that your theme is blue and brown. She made such a stink about that cake!
  21. OK, I would highly recommend NOT getting an AA battery camera. Maybe I have just had bad experiences, but I've had two digital cameras (different brands) with AA batteries and it was a nightmare! VERY EXPENSIVE and it sucked to have to carry around extra batteries everywhere I went. I was lucky if I could shoot 100 pictures without it dying. Oh, and when the battery was low then the pictures were blurry... so make that 50 pictures.
  22. They do say that your relationship can withstand anything if it can withstand building a house. It's supposed to be fun... but it was TOTALLY stressful. Agreed that there was fun mixed in there and I couldn't be happier... but it was stressful. Shawn actually didn't want anything to do with the designs either. We were at a design studio for 6 hours one day to pick everything out... he was done after thirty minutes. So, for the rest of the time I picked everything out and when I asked his opinion he just shrugged his shoulders. It's kind of like wedding planning, men just don't care until something goes wrong!
