    I actually don't know of a dentist smell. I guess it's only one of those smells you notice when you hate the dentist I do dislike floride though. Yuck. Back when I was little they'd make me keep it in for five minutes. Well, i have issues with keeping things in my mouth and I'd puke after two. every time. You'd think they'd get the hint! Thank goodness technology is what it is nowadays! It's only one minute now and although I still start to gag, I don't actually upchuck anymore!

    For January I think it's pretty typical. January-March are typically expensive in the RM.

    I read the people magazine article as well. It's even funnier when you see what she looks like. This is SO terrible of me... but I expected some prisy looking twig that looks rich and snobby. TOTALLY NOT what this girl looks like!

    OK, I like the palm idea, however I would NOT do the water in blue like that. That is the part I don't like and what makes it blend into the surroundings too much. Maybe a red would look better or just clear? And then what if you took ribbon and made a criss cross pattern up the vase? Just to add a punch of color?

    I'm sorry Courtney. I'm one of those complete wierdos who LOVE the dentist... but I've never even had a cavity, so that pretty much explains it. I LOVE the feeling of clean teeth. I hope it's not too painful for you.

    Welcome! I think there should be plenty of resorts in the RM area where you can stay within the $1,000 a person budget. You can almost stay at the Azul Blue hotel for $1,000 a person for only three nights!

    If I'm not mistaken, the RIU is a lot cheaper than Beaches... which could be the main deciding factor for most people. I know I've looked at Beaches, and I would LOVE to have a wedding there and I think my entire family would love the resort... it's just not economical at this time.

    OK, I think what you wrote up is great... except stop at "presents enough." It's considered bad etiquette to include any registry info. Instead, properly arm your family and bridesmaids with the information on the honeymoon website (which I think is a fantastic idea).

    Bridesmaids I plan on buying a manicure and then a personalized beach tote. Groomsmen, well, I don't have much say... but if I did I would go with the sandals that have a flask built into them. The boys would LOVE them!
