  1. Here is what I will send my guests. I "stole" most of it from someone else and then just edited it a bit. Once you arrive in Cancun International Airport (CUN) getting from your plane to your ride is a pretty easy excursion. When you get off your plane, you’ll enter a line to clear passport border control. You must provide your completed tourist card at this time. Do not forget to fill out the complete form including a signature line that is hidden at the bottom of the form. Once at the passport control counter, the border control person will review your passport and your tourist card for your signature, and then stamp your tourist card. He will keep a copy, and then give a copy back to you. MAKE CERTAIN TO KEEP THIS COPY in a safe place, as you will need it to exit Mexico. Next, collect your baggage and take it to the x-ray machine. Place your bags on the belt. Collect your bags on the other side. Walk towards the exit where you will find a Red and Green traffic light. To activate the light, press the button. If you receive a red light, you will have to open your baggage for inspection. After clearing customs, you will most likely be approached by many people posing as taxi/shuttle drivers. Beware, these are actually timeshare salespeople. Ignore any solicitations for free vacations or rides to your hotel unless of course you have the intention of listening to a timeshare presentation during your stay in Mexico.
  2. I was actually just thinking about this today! And I think there will end up being people invited to my showers who weren't invited to the wedding. Mainly work people. I am close to them at work... but it's a "small intimate" wedding of our closest family and friends. I think that says enough. It's not that I don't want them there,... hmmm... I guess yeah it is. Dang. Ah well, my answer is invite your friends!
  3. I didn't find a photographer yet. I have two possibilities, but we are leaning heavy on one of them. I'm just waiting to get some examples of his stuff in the mail. My dad is happy with him. He thinks his style looks just like yours (Since you are now my dad's favorite photographer now too). Obviously I see the difference... but I do like his work.
  4. Ha, I sent the link to Shawn. That's funny. I must admit, it did scare the crap out of me when I looked up and saw a lense. I thought you were a weird stalker person, just like she says in the article! But it's the best thing ever now! everyone LOVES the photos!!
  5. Welcome back! I really am interested in your review since you were the first costa rica bride from the forum! I like new destinations!
  6. I must say I was a little disappointed too. I know she loves it... but she IS a crier, so I'm a little sad she didn't. Perhaps once it's fitted and I have the veil. But not when I was first trying it on. I must say I was a little disappointed too. I know she loves it... but she IS a crier, so I'm a little sad she didn't. 7. Nope, no details... or pictures. Sorry. I didn't plan on ever posting pictures for fear of anyone seeing them... but then when I was at the store I got so excited that I didn't even take any pictures!
  8. Hmmm... my resort is five minutes from the ruins... and I want a TTD session at the ruins!!! What day did you say you'd be available
  9. I have a GREAT idea for your wedding contest. "If your name is Trisha and Shawn and I photographed your engagement... YOU WIN!!!" Best contest EVER!
  10. I'm late, but happy anniversary Leigh. I hope you guys had a wonderful time on your little trip!
  11. I LOVE Grand Cayman. it's beautiful and has amazing snorkeling. The only issue is that it was hit REALLY hard by the hurricanes. I went there about four years ago... and then I went back there in 2006 after the hurricane. What a difference. The first time I was there you couldn't see across the island. it was lush and beautiful. The second time I could see our cruise ship from the opposite side of the island because most of the palm trees were distroyed. It was still very beautiful and I would still recommend it... but it just wasn't AS nice as it had been.
  12. Now that I have actually choosen a date... I wanted 04.04.08 at 4 in the evening. Yeah, that wasn't available. So then I chose the 11th because it was much cheaper.
  13. That's terrible... and it makes me really scared! I just ordered my dress on Monday. They wanted me to order a size 12 and I refused! I tried on the 14 and it was 7 inches too big... so there was NO way I was letting them order me a 12 so that I would have to pay huge alteration charges. But, now I'm really nervous that it isn't going to fit me!!! AHh!
  14. Wow! Time sure flys! Everything looks so great! I can't wait to see the pictures of everything on your day!
  15. Welcome! I am sure you will find so much useful information here! Good luck!
  16. I don't quite remember what pictures are in my siggy... but if the picture of him actually proposing is in there it works perfect! he's holding my hand
  17. I know airlines do provide oxygen. You'll just need to contact them to arrange it.
  18. I just laughed SO hard. Now, given, I can't see the video... but reading about it I was dying! That's hilarious! It reminds me of when Bam's Unholy Union was on. If you are in a relationship with a jokester, you can't be a serious person... although the slap was well deserved!
  19. Does the stamp include the word PASSPORT and UNITED STATES OF WEDDING BLISS??
  20. This is what I have... For the wedding day: sundresses, linen pants, cotton shirts, no shorts, no ties! Ladies, it might get chilly at night, so a nice shawl or jacket will be handy. Also, we will be walking on sand so keep that in mind when choosing your shoes. However, after reading that it sounds like that's ALL they can wear.... hmmm
  21. Welcome to the form! I know Tara (Tvt) has stayed at the Moon Palace, so she might be a great place to turn if you have questions about the hotel
  22. Poor pup! I hope he's ok! It doesn't look like your car has too much damage though, that's nice.
  23. Oh, I really like how vibrant your colors are! So pretty! Very nice, thanks for sharing!
  24. Don't worry Heidi, if I get married on 4/4 I FULLY plan on getting married at 4 pm!!! I'm weird with numbers and that works out wonderfully! The only reason for possibly the 12th is it might be $100 cheaper for guests (and since we are paying for 10-12 people that adds up!), and this weekend I found out it would have been my grandma and grandpa's 60th wedding anniversary... and I think that'd be cute!
