The new dress comes in in two weeks. So, I'm still pushing it for alterations, but I am fine with it. I'm VERY excited. Stupid shady bridal stores.

I think you can wear whatever you want and look beautiful in! But, on a side note, i have heard that many people who don't wear white or whiteish dresses on their wedding day regret it in coming years. I just would hate for you to be one of those. But, with that said... who cares! Do what makes you feel great!

YIPPEE! Well, half yippee! I ordered the second dress! it'll be here in two weeks! It sucks that I had to pay this much for two dresses (well one dress and one dress that is missing!) but, who cares anymore! I'm so excited! not to mention, I got a free 2 night honeymoon for purchasing the second dress. That makes it a little less of a hit... if you tilt your head and look at it sideways! oh, i am SO excited. it's Mori Lee style 5172... But it's a brand new dress and not on her site yet! Dang it! i just want to stare at it! Oh, and an update on dress #1 store. my sister went there to see if they were closed. The owner was there. She was totaly nonchalont about the whole thing and just kept saying "UPS didn't come yet today." Well... UPS came while my sister was standing there! They are on COD!!! (that's bad). And get this... three LARGE boxes (not sure what else they could have been besides dresses) were delivered... but she didn't pay for them and the guy loaded them back on the truck and left!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! My sister was standing right there! Crazy.

Just an FYI, i purchased my tylenol and my immodium AD for cheaper at Office Max. Tylenol Extra Strength was $13 for a box of 100 (50 packs of 2) Immodium AD was $17 for 72 (36 packs of 2). I would suggest checking your local office store. Then you pay less and don't have to pay shipping.

Hey, just for fun I thought I'd update this thread. So, today is the day they had said I'd get my dress on after my father threatened to demand our money back. SO, we call them... DISCONNECTED!!! yup, that's right. The phone has been disconnected. Lovely. Sadly, it might be too late for my second dress choice too! This is NOT sitting well in my stomach!

I am VERY worried. Shawn has very specific ideas in his head of what a pretty wedding dress looks like. I'm nervous! Especially because he demands it be white. Well... dress #1 is white, but now I might be getting dress #2 which is actually gold with an ivory lace overlay... so NOT white! I'm very scared about that, but white looks so bad on me!

Here are the pictures I had promised awhile back of my sand ceremony stuff. You can see that it's different panes of glass so I'll fill one section with the sand and then put our photo in the other section.

I like number one, but only fear is that on most items it'll be so small that you won't be able to make out the date or the place. But, I love it!

OK... this is what worked for me. I sure hope it works for you... but you never know! So, i had to create TWO folders. Let's call them Font Drop 1 and Font Drop 2. I save the zipped file to Font Drop 1. Open the file. Copy and past the font file into Font Drop 2. Then you can copy and paste that into your fonts folder. I sure hope it works for you. good luck.
