There is a beautiful picture some where (sorry, I probably deleted it!) but it's with the bridal party in white with blue sashes. I think it looks BEAUTIFUL! Anny had her girls wear white with red sashes (if I'm not mistaken) and I thought that looked so awesome too. I really think it'd be fine

Good morning everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that the order was placed for our Pashminas!! The first package is due to arrive on Feb. 1st. The second package is... well, not shipped yet! We are waiting for the following pashminas to come in: Light Green, Turquoise, Fuschia, and Aqua. The good news is that our first two weddings (jnowland and Coreyphil have none of those colors so as soon as I get the shipment they'll get theirs!

It's actually split, but it appears more family We have 8 friends booked and 20 family members (1 vendor too:)) If it weren't for us paying for our 8 friends (bridal party) I'm not sure any of our friends would be coming. Even though all of them have always said they'd 'be there.' Yeah. Right.

Hello there fellow brides! I know there are a lot of us getting married in April of 2008 so I thought I would offer a buy/sell item. I'm thinking of getting these travel wallets made up: In them I will place our luggage tags that we are making for our guests and the travel information brochure. And then they are used to keep all of your Mexican tourist stuff, passport, and ticket information together during travel. I think they will be very handy for my guests. On the front will be a silver imprint. I am thinking something like Riviera Maya, Mexico An image (my first choice is a hibiscus flower, but I'd do a palm tree if you'd want) April 2008 Would anyone be interested in these? The cost would be $5.50 a piece. I will have 20-30 of them to sell if I purchase them. I could also do Mexico instead of Riviera Maya or any other cute wedding phrase if someone wants. Please PM me if you'd be interested. Oh yeah, and they take 6-8 days to make and the company is located just miles from my house so we'd get them in time.

My timeline so far looks like this: 8:00 am - breakfast with the girls at the buffet 8:45 - plop all bridesmaid stuff in my room and then head to spa 9:00 - spa appointments start 12:30 - Lunch - order in room service while getting read (also, flowers arrive) 1:30 - photographer arrives to shoot getting ready shots 2:15 - bridesmaids get dressed 2:30 - I get dressed 2:45 - bridesmaids and moms depart for ceremony 2:50 - dad and I have a moment and then go to the ceremony 3:00 prelude begins, guests seated 3:05 - everyone is seated. Mom's pour sand and have a seat 3:10 - groomsmen & officiant walk down aisle 3:15 - bridesmaids walk down 3:20 - Dad and I walk down. 3:45 - Ceremony done - group shot 4:00 - beach wedding party/family photos 5:30 - cocktail hour 6:30 - dinner 7:30-10:30 - reception

I'm late to this, but I"m glad that you can still have your wedding at the ROR even though most of your family is from there so obviously won't need to stay at the hotel! That must have taken a lot of stress off of your plate.

These look SO nice! I love them! The only thing that seems a little odd to me was after COCKTAILS it says prior to reception... but the times kind of indicate that already. No big deal, they are still gorgeous!!! I love them!

Picking a resort is really tough. Something you will have to consider when you say you don't want a very large resort is that if it's not big, it probably won't be able to have nearly as my restaurants or bars. What kind of places have you looked at and what was the "ick" point of each one?
