no beach receptions, and you figure out pretty quickly why. The wind is kind of ridiculous and you'd get sand all in your food. And depending on the time of year, the sand bugs can be REALLY nasty. Plus it's super dark down there, so it'd cost a lot to somehow get lighting to the area and the pathways to make it safe for your guests. -
I'd probably have two songs ready, but people sit pretty quickly when it's time.

Oh I don't think you'll feel bad at all! The resort is gorgeous, there is plenty included in your package to make you feel bridal (bouquet, hair, dinner). It'll be perfect, less stressful, and less expensive!

Yup, your photographer will be fine. Still has to fill out the paperwork properly when entering the country, but as far as the hotel goes they will be fine.

I got the mixed grill and it came with a TON of stuff. So many sides it was ridiculous actually. They may have scaled back, but I would highly doubt it. I have not heard anything about the all inclusive stopping at 11, however that's when most of the bars close and you'd have to go to the hacienda to get drinks.

If she's there on a day pass you have to pay a fee, I believe it's around $800 or something crazy. And of course, she cannot be from Mexico. Otherwise a day pass will not allow ANYONE to photograph a wedding unless you pay the fee.

In club Golden of Akumal we got room service. Not sure it was 24 hours though, and it was very limited.

They will not allow you to rent out the restaurants, however with that many people, you'll fill a good portion of it so it might not be a problem anyways.

When I was there last the dock was destroyed by the hurricane, so I'm not sure how it was rebuilt (or IF it was rebuilt), but it definitely wasn't big enough to hold a wedding. and it's REALLY REALLY REALLY crowded right there. Lots of sunbathers and also lots of swimmers.
