My Planning info: Well, with one day left to go before we leave, I think I’m pretty well prepared. Here’s what we got…well… kind of. I can’t get access to my normal internet, so I had to cut out some pieces such as program fans, a picture of my ring… you know, little stuff like that. Without this forum I don’t know what I would have done. I have 1 for the guests to sit. 1 for the mom's & fiance to walk down to (and pour sand for the sand ceremony). 1 for the bridesmaids/groomsment. 1 for the BRIDE. 1 for the sand ceremony. 1 for the recessional. So, 6 songs I have for the ceremony.

Nope, Johnny boy is in Wisconsin! That's probably why you had heard it. I wouldn't be surprised if he is visiting chicago quite often.

I feel your pain. I am now a two dress bride because of this same thing. I thought I loved my first dress. It was everything that I wanted... until I saw photos of me in it. Then I HATED it. The worst part was that everyone else kept saying 'oh don't worry, you look great.' Honestly, I'm sure to many people I do... but to myself, I looked horrible. And your wedding is YOUR day! YOU will have to look at the pictures for the rest of your life so YOU need to feel amazing. It sucks, and it cost me a lot of money to realize this... but I'm now in LOVE with my new dress. With that said, I think you should wear the first dress which you like. Even if your FI has seen you in it. It'd be kind of funny actually. He thinks you are getting a totally different dress... but you wouldn't. Ha. Funny joke.

April 12th is Easter next year, so March AND April will be VERY busy down in the RM. Based on that, I would say May.

First things first I'm so sorry to hear about this!! But, I haven't heard much of the throwing of roses out to sea, but I know a lot of brides put a single rose on the chair where they would be sitting. Or light a candle (in a hurricane vase of course) so that it burns through your ceremony. The only concern I would have with throwing roses out to sea is that with the waves and tide, they'd come back and get washed up on shore rather quickly. Otherwise, it'd be beautiful!!!

Didn't Tammy have a scare with this when she was pregnant? I thought one of you ladies did. Did you already do all the testing Amy or do you still need to do the over night test? Or maybe I'm making stuff up and talking about the wrong disease!

Holy Poodles! This BDW is a baby making factory!!! Congratulations! That is so exciting! I'm sure you were starting to get dissappointed every month if you guys have been trying since November! This is VERY exciting news! It's also adorable that he started crying and was so excited!!! So, you are going to tell people after the doctor appointment, but what about your daughter? Are you going to tell her in a special way? Maybe a "I'm the big sister" shirt or something?

I love VistaPrint! I ordered small magnents and had the same cutting problem. However I called them and they reimbursed me as a credit. It was very nice of them. My large magnet is beautiful! It is a weird size though!

Walmart. Coopertone 30 SPF for $.97 each. best deal I could find! Even cheaper than the dollar store!

Actually I think Hobby Lobby has a ribbon very similar to that. I think they have it in shades of pink and orange too.
