  1. Oh of course I do! They are posted around here somewhere, but if you care to scroll through all 1,000 of them here is the website Studio Home Page Our last name is Faber
  2. I was just thinking how it was your anniversary! How exciting! Congratulations, 2 years now right?
  3. Yup, Tulum side only. Not on the Akumal side. I had guests say at the Coba section and it wasn't a problem. And finally, yes, you can visit all three resorts if you so choose.
  4. Good luck Melissa! I hope everything goes well for you. It's been nice chatting!
  5. Yeah, I thought that too, but that's not the case. She'd pretty much ONLY respond to my TA... and partially because my TA would talk with whoever she needed to in order to get what I needed!
  6. Oh he is just annoying me at this point! He calls everyone of them "babe" like he can't remember their names or make up a new pet name for all of them. Ugh, I hate it!
  7. I had the centerpieces, but they were actually the decorations at the ceremony site, so they were duel purpose! I LOVED them! They were $40 a piece and just beautiful. After the wedding I took one back to our room with us to enjoy it for the rest of the week... and the maid would take the roses off of it and decorate our room with the petals. It was beautiful every time we came home!
  8. What about doing "naked baby" in the grass (diapers on of course) and then just get down really low and take pictures of her laying there, get some close up pictures of the grass and her in the background? I always love those! This picture is PRECIOUS! http://www.betterphoto.com/gallery/d...umber=6&camID= Oh this website has SO many ideas... 9. I could NOT get a hold of her... my travel agent was MUCH more successful. are you using a TA?
  10. I could NOT have worn my veil. I did a practice run before my hair was done and thank goodness I did. The wind was SO bad that my veil wrapped around my face! And it wasn't long enough where I could hold it, or anyone else for that matter. So, it really stunk... I had grown on the idea of wearing a veil and feeling like a bride... but it just wasn't in the cards
  11. OOO how exciting! Welcome home! I love these pictures and they are just teasers! I can't wait to see professional ones!
  12. Yeah, I think eventually everyone will have a hybrid... and the price difference won't be so steep and then it'll truly make sense for more reasons than the environment. When I watch Extreme Home Makeover I always want the Ford Hybrid SUVs they give them... they always look so pretty on tv! Although I'd never buy Ford...
  13. Yup, it really is disrespectful. That's why we didn't push it with my dress. When they said no, it meant no. I mean, wedding dresses and photos like that aren't part of the Mayan culture.
  14. The question wasn't directed towards me... but we kept in touch with our party via 2 way radios. We all tuned to the same channel and it worked brilliantly! We always knew if someone wanted to hit the buffet, or what pool we were at. It worked lovely!
  15. While I am a huge fan of the hybrids... I must be the voice of reason. Don't buy a hybrid simply to save money... because most people won't! A lot of studies show that in order to cover the extra expense of purchasing a hybrid, you would have to drive it for 20-40 years before you will be saving money on gas. So, if you need a new car then I'm all for it, but if you are purchasing it simply for the gas reasons you might want to make sure you aren't paying too much more than the normal model. Well, unless you are doing it simply to help the environment... in which case I'm all for it! 16. They also had small bottles of cocktail mix for $1! It was cute, margarita mix, coloda...
  17. Jen you looked so beautiful! And I think your coordinator did an amazing job! Everything looks so awesome! Your guests must have been really impressed.

I love the picture of everyone on the dock! Great job Bryan! My bridesmaid dresses were actually half custom. They didn't have the color blue I wanted for the sash... so we purchased brown dresses from Bill Levkoff, and then we hemmed them up to the knee (they were mid calf). Then I purchased blue satin material and we had a seamstress add the sashes. I was very pleased with them!
  19. Sorry, I'm not much help. We were stopped at the ruins and weren't allowed in. We went to the nearest public beach which is about 2-3 miles down the road. I'm sure if you walked the beach you would eventually find the ruins in the background, but it's a long walk... and HOT! But, we went at 9 in the morning and the BEACH was empty. The ruins were FULL.
  20. Welcome! Yup, you usually have a stay a bunch of days in order to get legally married in Mexico. Good luck in your search!
  21. Wow, that really stinks! The good news is that I think you'll be able to find a photographer. I paid right around that for my photographer and I'm thrilled with my photos. Just start contacting some people and see if they are willing to travel that time of the year. I'm sure you'll find someone in no time!
  22. YUP! Ours all blew out... and very quickly! They were all in glass containers but I guess an inch above the wick wasn't tall enough!
  23. Holy crap! Time sure flys! I can't believe it's time for your wedding! I am so excited for you Courtney! I can't wait to hear all about it!
  24. Yeah, i was very worried about it. My ring is over $5,000 and his is $2,000... not to mention all of our cash. I was REALLY releaved when he slipped the ring on my finger at the wedding!
  25. Well, I agree that the DO NOT DISTURB sign doesn't work. To prove it Bryan (our photographer) did a test. He put $4 on his bed (which is where you are supposed to put tips). He then left his room and placed the DO NOT DISTURB sign on his door. When he got back, the money was gone. What Shawn actually did (and at the time I laughed at him, but we didn't have any problems) was he brought duct tape and taped our big bills and our wedding rings underneath the furniture. It worked very well I must say... since nothing was taken and we placed a piece of clothing next to the dresser to see if anyone even looked and that piece of clothing didn't move all week.
