I agree with the Paul guy being weird. His conversation that they showed on TV was just akward! It was like, I need to be in love and married. Yup, I was engaged before... and I need to be married again. It wasn't "I was young and I learned a lot about myself and I'm really ready to make the commitment now." It was more of a Yup, I was and now i'm on to the next person who'll say yes to me simply because I want to get married! yuck. I don't like him.

Hopefully I can help! We arrived at or around 2 pm on Monday afternoon and we were wed on Friday... legal ceremony. So, since your wedding is one day later than mine, your arrival time SHOULD be okay!

Ah ha, the joining rooms question! RUMOR has it that there are some... RUMOR also has it that they are only on the first floor... RUMOR also has it that they are the two double bed rooms... RUMOR also has it that they are standard rooms only. Now, key word being RUMOR! None of our guests had joining rooms and we never saw any... but then again... we really didn't go into people's rooms!

Oh how exciting! Hurry home with pictures!!!!! Love every minute of it!! As far as the Collectivos... they pick up right in front of the resort, ALL the time. And then they drop off just a few blocks off 5th ave in Playa and they run very frequently.

Stupid flash forward. I was just sitting there dumbfounded! And then I sat up all night trying to think of ways they can take it back to normal!!!

I heard that is exactly where they are picking up next year. i was SO upset! I don't understand why she'd be with Adam! There better be some really good explanation for that. And I hate that Gaby has "let herself go." That's her character!!! Dang nabbit!

OK, bunches of questions today!! Martha, I brought CD's. If they play in a normal CD player they will work on their equipment. I didn't even ask about my Ipod. I figured if I lost a 30 cent CD I'd be much less heartbroken than my Ipod! As for the shuttle to Playa... it's possible. I'm not sure. However, you can always take the Collectivos. They are $2.50 each way and super fun and easy. That way you can come and go as you please rather than being on the hotel's schedule. I did not purchase wedding insurance, but we did purchase normal travel insurance and encouraged all of our guests to as well. Plan B for the Akumal section isn't actually that nice Well, compared to the beautiful outside that is. It's the bar connected to the theater. It's all large glass windows and you can see the lush vegetation... but I'm not really sure how they'd set it up for a wedding. I'm sure when it has to be done it looks just fine For the reception, if you have paid for a private outdoor reception and it rains, you will be in Club Coba. Don't be confused, it's in the basement of the Akumal Lobby. it's basically like any normal indoor banquet hall, except that it's in the basement and has no natural light.

It was just a fun day after shoot for us where we could get some unique pictures which really showcased why we chose a destination wedding in the first place! We loved the beautiful blue waters and to get some relaxed pictures when we could just have fun was priceless to us! And I used my regular wedding dress. It actually cleaned it!!
