  1. Oh Jaime that is such amazing news. Your aunt and uncle are so generous! Now you can get excited to get some shopping done!!
  2. WOW! That dress looks amazing on you! Congratulations!!!
  3. Hey Amanda. Yes, our rainout option was in the basement... HOWEVER that was for the Akumal side. Who knows what it is on the Tulum side. We had our welcome dinner in the buffet. They blocked off a section for us and it was perfectly fine. Honestly, if it rains don't worry about being in the basement. It'll still be beautiful and you'll be surrounded by your closest family and friends. Not to mention, you don't need to STAY in the basement. Have your rain plan be to eat dinner down there, toast, maybe do an hour of dj with your first dance, and stuff like that... but then have everyone go to the bars with live music Could that be an option?
  4. We booked our Xel-ha tickets on-line and it worked like a charm! It was really nice to not have to bring that much cash with us (we swam with the dolphins). Plus, it's cheaper!
  5. Oh my goodness is his room cute! I love it! And i love the toybox storage solution that you have below the window. It goes with the room perfectly!
  6. Oh her room is so cute! And she looks SO tiny in her little bed!!! How is life? Is she doing well? Are you guys adjusting alright to being home and having to take care of her instead of the nurses helping out?
  7. Yup, my number one recommendation is to not stress. Yuritzia is TERRIBLE at e-mail communication but she's brilliant at the actual production of weddings. Your wedding will be gorgeous and amazing! Feel free to ask any questions you may have!
  8. Yippee! Congratulations Christine! I bet your beautiful baby girl is just so precious! I can't wait to see pictures! I hope you enjoyed your first night as an official mommy!
  9. Trisha feel free to take this one I'll get the next monogrammed Trisha bag that gets sold here (actually, I already have a TRISHA bag... so no worries!)
  10. Oh thank heavens you are home! I was really starting to worry that something went wrong! How's Gwen doing? Do you have to take her to your doctor anytime soon?
  11. My dad actually had that too. It's sleep apnea. It was really scary and he'd stop breathing all the time! He went to the sleep study thingy and they found out he was only getting about 3 hours of sleep because of it! So they gave him a machine to sleep with (looks like Gonzo). It worked like a charm.
  12. Oh wow! Baby Austin is growing so fast! How lovely! Does he like swimming?
  13. I can't view the picture from at work... so I'll check it out when I get home.
  14. Sadly... I don't thinK Riviera Maya includes Cancun. Like the definition above, it starts about 40 miles south of Cancun.
  15. I LOVE your pictures! You look so natural and like you were really enjoying yourself!! How super duper excited is your FI going to be
  16. Last night was very interesting. We got home from work and looked out our back window to see we had a HUGE honey bee nest in our tree! I mean, this thing was four feet long and at least six inches in diam. of PURE honey bees! It was nuts! So then the rest of the evening involved going to WalMart and getting bee spray and then me video taping Shawn spraying them and running away like a scared little girl! Oh it was hilarious! Oh yeah! And we went skydiving on Saturday! That was awesome! However, I convinced my dad to go too... and he almost died! AH! It was So scary! My poor mother. The video can be seen on YouTube - Chuck skydiving If you watch when the shoot gets pulled one of the shoulder straps breaks! (please remember I was watching this from the ground with my poor mother screaming at the top of our lungs!) Thankfully the dive master cut away the bad shoot and the back up worked like a charm! it's kind of funny watching the video because my dad had NO clue what had happened! It wasn't until he got on the ground and we all went running to him and gave him huge hugs that he realized it was his shoot plumiting to the ground that he saw!!
  17. Oh yeah, sorry. They do have a videographer... but I didn't use him. I want to say $500
  18. Holy crap Glenda! That sounds like the most awesome, perfect bachelorette party ever! You have some amazing friends!!
  19. There wasn't a deposit for the Xel-ha towels when we went... I think the flexibility of the ceremony depends what type you are doing. If you are legally getting married I think they are more strict. For instance, my sand ceremony HAD to be AFTER the official ceremony. It was a little weird... but I don't think it phased anyone! As for the flowers... I brought a picture of the ones I wanted and it was no extra charge. It's only extra if it's a flower they don't usually carry. Mine was roses & lillies which are two of the flowers they offer... so it was free.
  20. Well, at least the drive from Denver isn't that long. It's duable in one day... two probably with Gwen. That's not that bad. You should have called me though, we could have met you in Denver
  21. Hmm... i actually really like it Tammy! I'm not a pro though You are starting to get REALLY good at this photo editing though! What type of camera do you have?
  22. I agree with everyone, TTD. if you can only afford one I'd much rather have pictures that I can be proud to show people and hang around my house... as opposed to a book which I'd make my husband hide from everyone!
  23. Ann, just do a digital scrapbook from MyPublisher! I'll make it for you if you'd like. I'll design pages just like are in real baby books (i'll use Addison's for reference)... but you can then also have pictures of little Gwen already in it!! How fun would that be?
