My dress was ivory and gold... so REALLY ivory and Shawn's shirt was white... and all of our groomsmen shirts were white. I honestly thought it looked really nice. Perhaps it was because they had kahki pants? I dunno but I did not have a problem with it.

hmmm... it does appear that way doesn't it? However we did NOT pay anything for the 7:30-8:30 and we certainly started eatting right away. Interesting.

Tammy, from the research I've done, I'd say invert your list At least that's how my list is. Flash, Wideangle, then the macro. I figure I will use the macro kind of rarely where as the wide angle I'd get more use out of... and since I hate using the built in flash (stupid blue eyes ALWAYS create red eyes) I'd recommend getting an external flash. Of course... I'm a novice, so you don't have to listen to me!

Nope, you are actually correct. You cannot go to the Disco on Thursdays unless you buy the $16 per person ticket to the fiesta that they have. It really stunk for us because we wanted to go there after our rehearsal dinner. Bummer. Oh well. As for the ceremony script, if it is a legal wedding you CANNOT change the wording... or at least that is what I was told. I know there was one other thing I could answer... dang it! Oh yeah! We had a bunch of guests that left on Saturday. It kind of stunk, but it was their decision. The private poolside reception actually ends at 10:30, so rather than going out afterwards these people just went to bed. it worked out just fine!

Here is mine. It's a large binder clip. Then I cut paper in strips of 2x2 I think. Glued it to the base. Then hole punched the middle part and whala! The color paper (in this case blue) indicates what meal they have chosen. SUPER cheap and they also double as picture holders!

Yeah, i only had 35... and I had budgeted to have to pay the full 50 people. let me tell ya, I was SUPER surprised when the bill came and they only charged me for the 35! I was jumping up and down I was so thrilled!

They have a bar set up and they have 3-4 waiters (depending on the size of your group) that walk around and take drink orders. They then deliver them on a silver tray. They do a great job!

Tough call actually. I would say that people are welcome to meet up at such and such bar inbetween the ceremony and dinner reception, but make it an optional thing. I would say more people will show up than you think.

Well... my engagement pictures were a surprise and I was told to wear fancy clothes. I love our pictures, but if I had to do it all over again, I'd go more casual. For your shoot in particular... I'd do jeans and heels for the urban part... and then what about a really nice sun dress for the beach part? I love flowy dresses on the beach. Perhaps your FI should wear kahki pants. I always think those look best on the beach. He should wear jeans in the city to match you.
