yup, I agree with Petals... do both! Either use a glue dot or buy a cheap punch and just slide the magnet into a cut out lip. Okay... that didn't make much sense. but what I meant is a punch that looks like a half circle. It gives you a little lip to stick a magnet in. Super easy and quick!

I used Word for all of my documents and it works just perfect. To place text over a picture you will need to use a text box. This is located in the drawing tool bar. it's a white box with an A in it. It automatically has a black outline, so you'll have to double click on the outline and remove that... but other than that it should work pretty easily.

OOO, so I love brainstorming photo shoots... I love the idea of getting out of the car in really tall heels and a short little skirt. Or if you could get one of those under the car things that mechnics use... that could make for some really fun shots too. Rub a little grease on ya... that'd be fun hmmm... yeah, I think you'll do great with the Mini!

Everything is really spread out, but only if you want to go from place to place. Our group pretty much stayed at the activity pool all day. It was where the 24 hour snack bar was, the lunch buffet, entertainment, pool, and bar. So we didn't have to move very far. So it's really up to him. However we had a guest at our wedding who was in a wheelchair (able to stand up and get into the trolley) and she was perfectly fine. The trams pick up every where and run around pretty regularly. He should be fine.

It is buffet... pretty darn fancy though.

I would 10000% say do them. However, that price is REALLY steep. For the record: you could fly in a photographer to stay at your resort for two nights for $850. Now, as for where to take pictures, I really would say don't do them at the resort. I know you'd save $400, but honestly the beach sucks! And it's REALLY crowded. Now, maybe in July it won't be nearly as crowded because it's low season... but typically it is. And every where you can swim there are very large sand bags so those will be in most of your photos. If you don't want pictures IN the water, then I think the resort would be okay. It's just my honest opinion.

ooo, that's kind of scary. I'm sure she wouldn't just give your date away. I mean, it takes them a month to reply to our e-mails... why shouldn't you get the same right?

In regards to the HD video... you not only need an HD TV, but you will also need a blu ray disc player (or a playstation 3) in order to WATCH an HD video. We personally have a HD camcorder, and the difference is amazing... but if you don't have the means to WATCH it, it seems pretty pointless!

It is about 30 minutes from 5th ave in Playa. Hope that helps.

First answer... steph-a-whatcha-ma-call-it flowers are NOT available in Mexico. I'm sure you could get them... but it would be VERY expensive. Now, as for the legal documents? That's really weird. We brought our passports... that's it. That's all we needed. Then they drew the blood and gave us the marriage certificate that night (which was accepted at the DMV & Social Security office). So... not sure what that's about. Oh, are either of you divorced? I know it's a lot more work to legally get married down there if you were divorced.

The main thing is that they can only bring three lenses and two cameras with. make sure they are aware of that. Other than that, my photographer didn't have to do anything special except be adopted by my family for the week!

Just be careful! Because sometimes when they say "with assistant" that literally MEANS assistant. Not necessarily a second shooter. For instance, on all of my portrait sessions I typically have an assistant. that's the person that holds my crap basically. It allows me to take the pictures that I need to take without interferance. However, when I do weddings I have a second shooter. They will do just like Morgan said. During the "get ready" stages, one goes with the bride, one with the groom. During the ceremony we capture different angles, same with the portrait session. It's also kind of just like a backup in case something goes wrong or in case you miss something. I enjoy having the peace of mind.
