  1. I think you look really lovely in that first dress, Sarah. I agree, it's not a DW dress like the other one, but that doesn't really matter if it's the one you really love. I too have seen that dress on the Nordstrom's website and liked it a lot - so I understand your weakness lol. Definately post pictures of the second dress when you try it on. But the key is the one that you really want to wear on your day.

I am just speaking from experience. I bought 8 bm dresses for my girls at Banana right at the beginning of planning before we had planned on doing a DW. I ended up having to return the $ and the dresses a few months later when we cancelled the hometown wedding and decided on a DW. A lot can happen in the next year. Ya, but if she changes her mind then she can flip for the new dresses. At this point these dresses are on sale and won't be available in a year. Where is their loss? They are paying less and if she changes her mind then they get two dresses for the price of one! lol.
  3. Ok - so, I don't get it. What is the point of complaining if you're going to get it sooner or later?! It's not like you're going to change your mind a bunch of times and make them buy more!! I would be pissed - clearly if it's on sale, they have to scoop them up before all of the sizes of that style are gone. Just tell them that they're lucky you found a dress ON SALE for so cheap (that's a really good price!), and if you wait chances are they'll end up paying more!!
  4. Wow, what's with all of these hot tamales on this forum?! Those look really good!! Have you seen the rest of them yet??
  5. 1k is a lot better than over 2k!! That I could probably handle. Did he give you any other details? I really love the coffee table book now but am not thrilled about spending that much money...
  6. I'm pretty sure that from an iPod to and iPod Nano the connections are the same - and iPod Nano is just physically smaller, but the connections should be the same. Just make sure that they have the actual connections for an iPod specifically.
  7. Ya, I really can't help you - chocolate is one of my many weaknesses. If I keep typing I'm going to end up telling you to eat the chocolate bunny!! BE STRONG!!! lol
  8. Ugh, Christa - you won that thread draw!

  10. Leigh, so far we still only have the three sessions. 2 boudoir and then my engagement pics. No one else is joining!
  11. I think clipart has to have a background... ? Not sure. You can recolour the background in paint or photoshop though.
  12. I would never check my dress w/the rest of my luggage. I don't care what I have to do to make sure it comes on the plane with me. From what I've heard, most airlines don't put up fuss - they even have somewhere where they'll hang it for you.

I've seen that too - the "intensity" of their kiss the newlyweds have to match. That can get... weird!
  14. lol no, not 7 Minutes in Heaven - the wedding kissing game! I actually think this "game" gets really old after like the first clink of a glass, but guest seem to insist on doing it. Aaron and I were thinking of doing a trivia about us. If you get it right, we'll kiss - if not, there is some form of punishment for you! (hehe) I've also heard of singing songs with the word "love" in them. I think we'll probably stick with the trivia - but I was wondering if anyone else knew of any other traditions. Plus - do people really still do this? If we don't set up the trivia are people going to clink their damn glasses?! For those of you who have been married already - what did you do, and if nothing - did people do the clinking? I HATE the clinking!
  15. Yay Ann!! It looks amazing on you!! Pssh - you could take that girl from America's Next Top Model any day! Lemme guess, it took you 0.83 seconds to tear into the package to get the dress out?!
  16. Lol, awesome site Melissa! I'm so glad you're back!! Ok, ok - I actually like the "Training Treats for New Hubby".
