  1. YAY! I'm from Alberta too (Calgary)!!! Welcome to the forum!
  2. Oh poo, that sucks, Kelly. When are you rescheduling your wedding for?
  3. omg Mishi, you look amazing!!! Thanks for the teasers.
  4. Ahh yes Danielle, you are one smart chica to start preparing ahead of time! Well, pre-congrats on your soon to be engagement lol. I can't wait to hear all about it when you do get engaged!! Have you given any thought as to where you're going to have your DW?
  5. Hey Taryn! Welcome to the forum. Clearly everyone else beat me to the OOT bag question, so I have no other way of feeling useful.....so.... WELCOME WELCOME Let us know how your plans are coming along.
  6. Yep, I've read them all. I enjoy them quite a bit - very well written. When does the new one come out?

  8. lol, he's a groomzilla already? Haven't you guys been engaged since Monday??
  9. IMO, not letting her do the unity candle might send a bad message. She is a part of his family. The good news is: during the unity candle part she won't need to talk, right?! Or, I did like your other option of having her do something else. If she has been in your FIs life since he was 11, I personally think it sends a bad message to exclude her from it.
  10. I just posted in your iPod thread, but hey - you deserve a proper welcome!!! Did you post your engagement story yet?
  11. Haha, I've gone VS crazy a few times myself! Somes Aaron manages to stop me before I hit the "checkout" button. lol damn budget..
  12. Hey!! Welcome to the May 2008 club!

Haha, I noticed the same thing about it too!! I either like the wide and shallow bags, or the tall flat bottom ones. lol anyways, I picked #2 -I just think it's more multi-purpose and your BMs would get more use out of them. I really like them both though.
  14. Yay Stacey!! That's so exciting!! You should post your engagement story in the engagement section... with pictures if you have them! I loooooooooooooove to read the engagement stories! Welcome to the 'engaged' club!!

He tore it up and dyed some it red... does that count as a trash the dress session... we have pictures!
  16. Excuse me? You didn't join them on their site visit?!? Ok - I should shut up before my mom sees this thread and thinks she's invited to my site visit!!! But really, you should have gone!!
  17. Sarah - before you buy, I know some ladies have already purchased some. I'm not sure how many, but we might have enough as it is. I honestly don't know, but if we can save you $18 we might as well!
  18. What exactly is a trash the dress session?? And why is it so common? lol. Why would I want to trash my dress, isn't that bad luck or something?!
  19. Ya, Ann - I agree with you. I don't expect anything from my guests I won't register. We might open a savings account in our name for a down payment on a house or something, but I wouldn't be upset if that didn't have any contributions from my guests.
  20. I know Jason (lambert13 - I think is his username) is having his wedding there this summer. I went on a site visit there a month ago (and should really post a review!)
  21. Do people really not know if they're going to be attending a DW a month beforehand?!! Haha, my RSVP deadline will be SEPTEMBER and my wedding isn't until next May! I guess I'm "lucky" in that Tammy informed me that Dreams booked up for this May by last October already, so if people don't RSVP and book ahead of time they won't be going no matter what!

  23. I've actually seen these at Michaels craft store. They're pretty basic, but they do have a small variety.
  24. Ya, I would just call up and tell them that final headcount goes in on x day (Monday or something), and won't be able to get changed after that. If they try to come afterwards just let them know they are invited to the ceremony, but unfortunately they didn't make the RSVP deadline, so they were not included in the dinner.
