  1. *drool* it all sounds so good!!! I'm surprised about the steak. I think Aaron and I will scope Edith's out for our RD on our site visit. Plus, any chance to try good food, and I'm there!! Thanks for the awesome review... now I'm hungry!

  3. OMG, Toby that dress is AMAZING. Who is the designer? It's gorgeous!!!! ORDER IT, ORDER IT NOW!!!
  4. Sarah - it looks like they did a great job!!! At look at all of those gift bags! What'd ya get??
  5. lol you don't need to hire a choreographer... you just watch the music video like 489 times!! If anything, you're sick of that song before you've got the dance down!
  6. I guess I'm the odd man out here. I don't get the whole thing with posting on YouTube, I wouldn't post mine on YouTube, but the idea of a dance like that is really neat. Aaron and I actually talked about doing a "different" kind of a dance because we're both pretty brutal dancers and both of us are really laid back and don't care about following tradition. I'd consider doing that dance! Yes, the first dance is about the couple, but we -as a couple - are all about our family and friends and we love to draw a good laugh. I'm 100% for this. ...but I wouldn't ever post it on YouTube lol.
  7. Aww Baxter, Mason and Annie are all so cute!! They all look so cuddly... and you're right, Annie does look like a teddy, she's posed so perfectly lol.
  8. I'm keeping a close eye on our budget, but we're not actually paying for the wedding, my parent's are. Although, as time goes on we seem to be forking over the money lol. Obviously it's nice if they pay, but I'm expecting to end up paying a lot. Plus, Aaron and I are going to Disney World for two weeks after the wedding so we're saving mass amounts of money for that. My parents are also paying for my grandparents to go, and probably my uncle and his wife, so I don't expect them to jump at the idea of paying for OOT bags!! Aww I'm so spoiled!
  9. Hey Garrett. Welcome to the forum! Dreams Tulum is a beautiful resort, have you been before? I loved loved loved their explorers club for kids... how old are the kids you're bringing? Best club ever, for all ages! I personally have just hired a TA, and will be working with the resort WC at Dreams Los Cabos. I'm still early in the planning though, so I might change my mind. I've seen others say the same thing and then "cave" and get a DW WC.
  10. Hey, Weclome to the forum!!! How far along are you with your planning?

Haha, I saw that on an episode of According to Jim and thought it was cute (if anyone is keeping track of all the shows I watch, you must wonder how I have time to work and post on here and maintain any life whatsoever!!) I've also heard of engraving your vows to him inside the ring, but I guess that depends on how long you decide to make your vows! I think I was something funny, yet meaningful too - I just can't decide what!
  12. lol I know - who the heck is gonna follow that?! BTW, nice addition to your siggy!
  13. All of the resorts have their own filtration system. You're okay to order water from the restaurants and drink it (ice cubes or not), but if you're still concerned, drink bottled water only - they're more than happy to provide it for you if that's what you prefer. Also, put a note (or talk to your housekeeper) to stalk your in-room fridge with lots of bottled water for you to carry aroung - on site, or off site.
  14. 1. Go to google.com. 2. Click on Maps. 3. Click on Get Directions. 4. From: New York, New York. 5. To: Paris, France. 6. Then, read line #24. 7. Laugh.
  15. Hey Sunamita, welcome to the forum and congratulations on your engagement!!! Just curiousity, what does your name mean? It's a very pretty, unique name.
  16. Aww, those are awesome pictures!! Who was taking them? Were you expecting a proposal?
  17. Gretchen, we have quite a few brides who are waiting to get engaged still. It's smart to start planning early!
  18. lol Tammy that's hilarious! Ya, don't castrate your son... unless you secretly want a daughter lol
  19. Well, I'm getting Aaron the b-pics. Also, I'm picking his wedding band and will have it engraved. I want to personalize it somehow else as well. I heard that you can engrave/imprint the outside with things that represent the journey of your relationship (e.g. a palm tree for when he proposed to you in Cancun or something), but I haven't looked too much into this yet. lol, no watch for my FI. I got him a really nice pocketwatch when we were first dating (for our first anniv) and he lost it - he doesn't wear watches often. I know I saw some socks specifically for "cold feet" on a wedding day somewhere a long time ago. I thought I bookmarked it, but I can't seem to find the exact link - there are ones like these on eBay: eBay.co.uk: Black groom wedding socks "In case you get cold feet! 20. Did you finish reading Melissa's thread (mexicomelissa) about first dates? That's a good thread!
  21. Ooh - Tara it looks awesome!! You've convinced me to awesomize my name when I get home tonight!!
  22. Yay!! Except... you don't sound overly impressed with it. When you post pictures that your son took, post the picture from the website again so we can see the difference.
  23. Hey Amanda - Welcome to the forum! How's the planning coming along so far?
  24. Hey Angela... This forum tends to attract some of the best photographers, and we definately love to have all of you great shutterbugs join us! I think maybe you're suppose to post in the "Vendors" section just in case someone wants to look up some info on you?? Not sure, I know Tammy (host) has posted some vendor rules, which might make that more clear for ya.
