We'll see how it lasts it's first day today! It says it's waterproof too - but I'm skeptical... I wanna go swimming now just to test it out!!
  2. Sorry guys, I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this stuff! Are these readings are for your officiant to say??
  3. lol, I got Windsor Pilates too - but it was on sale at a store nearby! Does that mean that I still gave in to the infomercial?! Wow - how much did you buy to end up being asked to join them on the infomercial??!?
  4. Yep, I got it! I gave in to my first infomercial EVER and got Sheer Cover. I'm not sure if anyone here has heard of it, it seems to be on TV here all the time! So finally I went and checked out their site and decided to try it since the prices are really super duper reasonable! I went for the intro kit expecting it to be like sample sized everything. They're actually decent sized - not huge, but it'll last me for a long enough time! So here's whats included for $30: * 2 shades of Mineral Foundation w/SPF 15 * 1 Duo Concealer (I already love this!) * 1 Concealer Brush * 1 Contouring Brush * 1 Powder Brush * 1 Travel Brush * 1 Mascara in Classic Brown (which looks REALLY dark brown to me, and it is a bit clumpy) * 1 Conditioning Facial Cleanser * 1 Nourishing Moisturizer w/SPF 15 * 1 Sheer Color Compact (includes samples of lip gloss, eyeliner etc) I tried it all and noticed a HUGE difference already. I have really dark circles under my eyes and have tried a lot of products. They're so dark I've honestly had people come up to me and ask what happened (thinking I have a black eye!!). It's really embarassing. The concealer works like a charm. I sound like a walking commercial, but I'm pretty happy with the product. I'll continue to use everything and keep you all updated on how well everything is working for me. The other good thing is you can mix and match up to 7 products for $15. So after you use the sample pack and decide what you like you can choose what you want, and add or delete other items for $15. I haven't tried this yet, so I'm not sure how limited it actually is - I guess I'll try this in 30+ days! Website: Sheer Cover® Lol... wow I just read that and I really do sound like the infomercial!! haha.
  5. I thought you meant cherry blossoms the candy.. mmmmmmmmmm Sorry, no help here (obviously!)

  7. Laura, was it good? I mean, is it worth booking on my calendar 180 days beforehand to reserve a table?!?
  8. lol Tara. On most sites that I visit that ask for e-mail addresses or snail mail addys I always give a fake name - the address is real (depending on the site!) but the name is almost always fake. That way if something goes to my inbox or in the mail that is for Courtney McBoob, I know it's not something I'm actually interested in! lol. I've also set up a hotmail account strictly for these so my normal account doesn't get flooded with junk mail! It works well! I access it once a month or so to keep it activated!
  9. Follow up about the passports. The only way you can get it done is if you babysit them!! Do you have a tracking number of some kind? If not, call them and let them know that they are already 9 days late and you need it ASAP! Get a tracking number if you can (although, you might have to pay for a rush to do this, I'm not sure if the US is different from Canada!). Also, see if you can confirm details over the phone so there are no mistakes. If your first dress fitting had minor details, you should be ok on your last fitting, I think. When do you leave?
  10. I'm partial to Nikon. I absolutely hate Fuji or whatever its called and have nothing but bad experiences with them - stear clear!

Umm, no I think it was in Kissimee, but I'm not sure. All of their cities/towns there are pretty much one giant city! It's very different from the prairies, here - there are can be hours between cities... there, I didn't even know I left the city I was just in!! The villas were called Regal Palms. Is that where you stayed? I'd recommend them to ANYONE. They've got a lazy river (which we didn't get a chance to check out last time ), and I think we paid around $500ish for a week. WAY better than staying at one of the Disney Resorts. As for your last suggestion - I'm sorry... I'm still trying to convince my parent's that bringing them on my honeymoon is out of the question! lol
  12. Definately take care of the passports now. Put a rush on it - and don't tell them you need it for x date that is closest to when you leave... give them a much sooner date in case they mess up (TammyM will probably reiterate that one!). Tell them you need it in one week or something. Put it on as much of a rush as possible, you don't want to be stressing at the last minute if you don't have to! As for the final dress fitting - can you bump it up? Are you confident that everything will be fine after May 31? How many times have you been in for fittings before?
  13. Laura, it's only the cinderella castle that you have to have reservations for. They only take reservations 180 days beforehand, but they apparently book up fast. We didn't know this and went when we were there last year and they looked at us like we were retards! lol. I'd just prefer to make the reservation to be safe rather than sorry - not that it's a huge deal! I love splash mountain too!! Last time it kept breaking down though, so we'd spend like 20 minutes at a time stuck in one place on the ride! It got old fast! One time we were stuck almost right at the top of the big fall! That was nerve wracking!!! lol
  14. So right after the wedding, Aaron and I are flying off to Disneyworld (YAY!) for two weeks up to the end of May. We've both been before. I was there when I was just a wee little one, and then we both went last year with my parents and LOVED it! I've been focusing so much on the wedding, I'm forgetting about the honeymoon (which I'm pretty sure is Aaron's favourite part!). Does anyone have any tips for Disney? Any favourite rides at Disney? What about hidden gems in and around the area (not necessarily in the park? We'll probably spend 90% of the time at Disney and the rest around Florida. Here's what I have so far: * Where we're staying. We stayed at this awesome villa last year and it was really cheap, clean and big. It was just like a townhouse; we had our own kitchen and everything which is an awesome money saver! * We need to book dinner at the Cinderella castle 180 days beforehand. That's on the schedule! * It's on my life list (yes, I have one! ) to ride the Tower of Terror 10 times in one day! But that's all so far lol. So if you have ANYTHING to help me with Disney and surrounding area for the two weeks we're there, it'd be greatly appreciated!!!
  15. No problem!! That's an interesting picture!!! It must have a story behind it..??!
  16. For us, a destination wedding will be less expensive. When I think about having at wedding at home I think about all the additional people I'd have to invite, with a DW less people really will be going. You can easily cut costs on decorations because really, with that backdrop you don't need anything if you don't want it! The only thing really blowing the bank for me is the photographer - which I'm more than happy to fork over big bucks for. Our wedding budget will land around $20k including our travel and accomodations (for 3+), about $6k for a photographer and the entire wedding itself. When you look at the cost for food, it's pretty good! I think at dreams it's around 22 or 24 pp, which is incredibly good! My friend is paying $68pp at her reception! Yowza!! And if you and your FI end up running off just the two of you, that'd be great too! It's about you and your FI and your relationship with him. Its your marriage! Sometimes I feel jealous over the small weddings or the brides that just run off and elope with their FIs! Sounds nice and stress free!

  18. profile picture and avatar are two different things... that got me for the longest time! You'll find Avatar lower down on the toolbar on the left side of your User CP options.

Ok, this is only in my honest and personal opinion... I was going to to daily excursions too! I loved the idea and thought of a bunch of ideas and whomever signed up, that's great, whomever didn't - oh well! Then I went on a vacation to Mexico at an all-inclusive a few months ago for someone's wedding... honestly, when they scheduled group things for us to do not many of us wanted to go. It was so nice to just enjoy the beach. We went to a few group things and my immediate family that I went with and I just wanted to go and do our own thing. And as the bride, I learned that I will want that too... I love all of the guests that will be going, but some down time before the wedding WILL be needed! I don't want to have to worry about getting up every morning to do excursions I planned and have to attend because I'm the host - I want to enjoy my time there too. We'll do one or two during the week, but that's it. Most people are going for their own vacations and don't want to feel obligated to tag along with other groups, but since it's for the bride they might feel obligated to go. I'm just sharing this because I kind of stumbled on to this realization and am sort of happy that I did! I think daily excursions would be a blast - it would be fun either way... I just know I am going to want to relax! You need to pamper yourself too!!!
  20. Aww what an awesome story!! Was he planning the proposal the entire time, or was he just going with the moment? Or.. I guess with the music it sounds planned!
  21. lol Christine, it's true - there are a lot of Walmart people out there like that! I also hate it when I'm at the mall (which is rare for me, the mall drives me up the freakin' wall!) and there is a group of people and they all walk side-by-side in a line so they block the entire walkway and you either walk incredibly slow behind them or you try to get by them... you say excuse me, but they and if you try to scoot by them they give you a funny look if you bump into them. Omg, I just want to push them off to the side. Sometimes I mumble something about getting out of the way - that's mostly on my grumpy days lol.
  22. Yay Christine!!! Just out of curiousty, how come you didn't order the album through Leigh?? I think either way I will because I just don't want to risk Aaron seeing me work on it or anything, but I'm just curious!

    Hey Girls!

It's so gorgeous - I have to admit, I'm a little jealous!!! You should post your engagement story and pictures (if ya have 'em) in the engagement section - I LOOOOOOVE reading those! Plus, you already tell such great stories! lol
  24. I've honestly found some good, decently priced ones at bridal salons! I might get mine that way - one that I went to had a HUGE selection - ones with sea shells, some sparkely, some with small/kitten heal, some flat, some with what looked like a satin look etc etc. Everywhere else I go, I find cheap, plasticy looking ones!
