  1. *tear* Are you ignoring me for a reason?? lol
  2. Umm, I think ivory would go best with the pink dresses. Just to lighten everything up. The chocolate brown would look really nice too though.
  3. Oops, I should read the rest of the posts before I post! lol. Julie, I think the colours you have chosen are great! They go really well together, and there's something there for everyone. How many of each were you thinking of getting?
  4. Haha!! I suck with colours... unless it's neutrals! lol And I'm not so sure that counts...
  5. Sure, why not get black and ivory? I'm thinking about doing neutrals. I wasn't sure about doing them either, but everyone is raving about them... plus, it does get a little chilly at night.
  6. Wow! I love your dress, it's so gorgeous!! The little starfish bride and groom are cute! lol. Did you use those instead of placecards?

  9. Umm... ok, well I'm in. But can I see the site again? Do they have a lot of colour selections? I'll end up counting for 25.
  10. Ooh! I really wanted to do the pockets, but didn't end up doing them. They look great. And now I'm wishing I did the pockets!! I'm totally jealous!
  11. Wow, those turned out great... really big (lol), but great! I love the colours! Nice work.
  12. Ya, if you use the mountains, you have to delete the http:// that's already inserted in there.
  13. I don't know what COD is. lol. But ya, I think you can just indicate that the shipping fees are paid upon receipt. Or at least I think you can do that here... I can't see why Canada Post would be so different from the US

To them it might seem like a no-brainer since they do it so often, so they might just assume you know what to expect or what to do. Like I said, for my site visit I have a zillion questions, and a lot of them might seem obvious, but I want to be really sure. Plus, I'm sure once we start talking, some of my questions will get answered. I really haven't spoken to Mariana too much. We just set up the meeting and the tasting. I told her a had a bunch of questions, and she told me to bring 'em all!
  15. Erica, I colour my own hair because I'm cheap and can't afford to have it coloured professionally (). So, I really really really needed to dye it but I kept putting it off until finally I decided it was getting too close to my site visit to colour because I'd have to recolour before I left then. The problem is, my roots are showing really bad. It's totally tacky! I have 3 weeks until my engagement pictures. If I dye my hair, will my roots be showing by the time 3 weeks rolls around? My hair colour isn't too far away from the colour I dye it, but it is a little darker, and I really don't want them showing in my engagement pictures. So... how soon can I dye my hair? If I do it now, will my roots be showing in 3 weeks? Thanks!!! Edited to Add: I also have a wedding to go to this weekend, which is why I'm leaning towards doing it now rather than waiting another week or two!

    Hello

Welcome to the forum Stephanie. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help!

I haven't tried on any tiaras... everything else from necklaces to veils with the dress, yes... tiaras, not yet. If you wear a veil AND a tiara, does it start to get cluttery?

Oh, well shipping will be pricey for me either way. Shipping to Canada seems to cost a lot! So whatever the vote is, it won't make a difference to me. If they shipped to you, you would send it so we paid apon reciept though, right?
  19. Wow, this thread has really taken off! I'm sort of regretting pulling my name! Is it too late to add my name back in? And ummm... where's the website again? :| Sorry. lol. Is it a PITA to send to Canada? When are you guys ordering?
  20. I dunno - is there a "too soon"?? We're not registering, but this honestly has never crossed my mind, and probably wouldn't have even if we were!! I think you can register whenever you want, as long as you register for things that won't be "outdated" by the time your wedding rolls around (e.g. anything really trendy, or some electronics... etc)

  22. Aww, you get there the day after I leave! Anyways, I contacted Mariana to specifically set up and appointment with her. I have a STINKLOAD of questions (some of which are obvious, but I want to confirm anyways). I'm hosting my Welcome Dinner there, so I can pretty much arrange everything through Mariana. I'd suggest setting up an appointment with Yesica.
  23. Ya, Mariana kind of did the same thing with me. She pretty much told me we can talk about everything while we're there. She sent me a menu to select for our tasting and we set up an appointment, but that's it. When are you going in August?
