    Hello!

    Welcome to the forum!!

    Hi!

Welcome to the forum! There are a lot of great locations in the RM. Any idea what you're looking for in your location (eg. adults only, AI, etc)?
  5. I really like them Laura! Can you believe it, four months! I was blown away at SIX... time is just zipping by. What else do you have left on your checklist?? Is there anything we can help you with? Quote: Originally Posted by redwards Those are SO pretty!!! I really really like them!!! I guess I thought it was a pic of the proofs or something and just assumed it had your info on it. Then I was rationalizing, like, "Oh, maybe it's their parents names...maybe they're hosting..." LOL! omg...It honestly took me a couple minutes to connect the dots on that one!! lol Rachelle - I love that you've confessed your moment purely for our entertainment!!

We have not contacted a travel agent b/c I don't know who to call but I am working on it. I think you should contact a TA. I got my room block and I had to pay only a couple hundred per room, not the entire stays worth. I think if you went through a room block, you'd only have to pay around 5000-7000 total. In addition to that, you don't actually pay that towards your guest's rooms, you can apply that to the cost of your wedding reception if you want.
  8. Wow... and what if it rains on your wedding day?
  9. Wow, is it sad that I WANT this dress??!!! Seriously, that's amazing!! Where do these women find the time?
  10. Depends... what are you willing to pay?!! In all honesty, invitations are incredibly time consuming. It may be difficult to find a bride, who is busy with her own wedding, that is willing to make yours for you. Anny (anacgarcia) has created her own business and could make them for you. I'm not sure what her pricing is, but you could PM her... her work is fantastic.

  13. Wow, you're sure posting this early!! I'm nowhere near ready to post a thread like this - you're good! But everything looks great... only a few short months until we get to see it all come together!
  14. They turned out great!! I hand delivered some of my invites (although they weren't as elaborate as yours!) and it was nice to see some of the reactions, especially after spending so much time on them. I love that some of your guests kept them as decorations... don't lie, you make a trip to the lou just to see your invitations when visiting, don't you?!

I think he got it for around $6.
  16. Check out this thread, it has some pretty good responses... http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t5131
  17. Didn't you find your ring somewhere before?? I think I remember you talking about that. Maybe you could meet with someone to design it and have them provide some sort of support (eg Pictures!). It doesn't hurt to get the process started and see what they cook up.
  18. That seriously sucks Christine. I agree, I would have gone back to bed immediately. Hopefully tomorrow treats you much better!
  19. Wow, I should read entire threads before I post. Beat by one minute! Nice work Morgan - you win!!

Oooh, Kathryn Heigl did this for her wedding - SO pretty...
