I'm so happy we decided on the Dominican. My countdown is on!! It's been 29/30 the last week down there!! ( I put the weather network on my computer so it shows down by my clock what the weather is). I know it's cruel to do to myself, and it makes me want to leave NOW!!

I did confirm with Julissa at Ocean Blue that you dont need documents. We decided to do the civil ceremony when we get back. I think psychologically it will be better LOL!

We are out in the sticks so we are just registered at Wal*Mart. We have also let friends/family know that we would also appreciate gift cards from Future shop or Home Depot though, so we have everything covered.

Well if she's just down there to 'get away' I don't think she would mind fending for herself for one night. I'd say TBSS (too bad so sad) we are all full up.

We aren't. We are at an AI, so what's the point? We are going to do up an itinerary of sorts to let people know the events that are going on that week (Wedding Tuesday, Chris's birthday Thursday, Flower girl birthday Saturday.. yes we picked a good week!). But other than that we are going to let people have their holiday!!

Yup Yup!! Sorry for what you are going through, it surely sucks! I was one of those 'wait to see who books' people, and honestly, no one BM-worthy has booked, so I will be walking myself down the isle, with a friend's 3 year old daughter as a flower girl. That's it. Chris is having one friend beside him. Another friend might book at the last minute, but I don't even know if he'll stand beside him or not. Really, we have like 12 people coming. What's the point if half of them are walking down the isle or standing beside the groom? Have them sitting in chairs, with a margarita. Them being there is special enough. IMO.

Gives me chills. It mirrors the beginning of our relationship to a T. I agree with Kelly, the photog in this case would be the large ticket item. I'd comfortably budget $8K
