I just received my order of fans from Bliss! Weddings Market. I found their prices to be great, 10 for $8.50 They are not pre packaged so they all appear to be the same size = medium. I ordered them on July 12th and received them this morning. I am Very Happy with them and with the service. You might want to check them out. If you have any questions, let me know. Lizzy

No more questions. Thanks for replying! Honestly ladies, these are the best deal around. When Maggie and I went to Pearl River in NY they had tons of parasols, but most of them had little tears in them, or they wouldn't lock in the open position. Granted they were not packaged and who knows how many people have played with them. The least expensive they had was somewhere around 4.95 or 5.95 and those were only 24". Also, there is a lady on eBay who is selling a Lot of 12 paper, white parasols for 47.95. w/out tax thats 4.00 a piece. Still not bad. Here is the link, you may need to copy and paste it: eBay: 12 White Wedding Paper Umbrellas Parasols (item 170132144236 end time Jul-20-07 15:56:23 PDT)

My Juan Carlos Pics!!!!
Lizzy replied to BEACHBRIDEMA's topic in Post your Destination Wedding & Engagement Pictures!
Your photos are lovely. Looking forward to seeing more! -
I just ordered them! I hope they are OK to use for Mag's wedding! They arn't treated with the oil so they have no protectant on them, but like Jilly said on earlier post, they should at least survive the wedding, right?? We aren't gonna paint them. Maggie is the Queen of the All White Wedding. I am thinking I might just throw in a little color with some ribbon in the handle or something. Where is Jilly??

knocking things off my list, yeahhh!

Kelly, you are so funny! Being Black Irish has nothing to do with your skin color. It has to do with dark hair blue-green-grayish eyes. I guess the skin tone does have a little to do with it. Usually very light skin, usually no freckles. Almost an etherial look...like a fairie princess. I am having a hard time describing this. BUT, this is what you look like to me. -
Maracas
Lizzy replied to Lizzy's topic in Destination Wedding in Riviera Maya, Cancun & surrounding areas
Thanks everyone. Maggie is going to Tulum this Sunday so I think I'll tell her to look down there. It sounds like she'll do better there then the internet. I will let you know what she finds. L -
Martha, little Jack came into your life for a reason. I pray he sticks around and fills your heart with the kind of love only a pet can. Lizzy

Has anyone bought maracas for their guests? Does anyone know of a good place to get them? Thanks, as always for your help! Lizzy

Jason and Karen, your happiness abounds. Just let the love grow each day. The two of you have been very blessed to have found each other! Slainte! Lizzy

Kelly, I have been thinking forever about asking you to post a photo of your whole gang. Wow, I am not alone on this! I would love to see you and Everton too. Are things going better with your FMOIL? I think you posted a little somethin-somethin about that awhile ago. Anyway, congrats on all of your accomplishents and your celebrations. BTW, You and Liam and Kenda are beautiful! I can see some "black Irish" in you. Lizzy -
Catherine, I thought you were gonna propose to him on Father's day??!! Maybe he has to S##t or get off the pot! OR, maybe you should wait, I do not know the answer. How long have you two been together? Couldn't you just tell him you found the deal of a lifetime and you would like to take advantage of it? He can only say one of two things, and if it is yes, you buy the gown...if it is not yet, then you have some decisions to make. I honestly think, for your own sanity, it is time to find out what is in your future. Good luck sweetheart, Lizzy

Vegetarians
Lizzy replied to Lizzy's topic in Destination Wedding in Riviera Maya, Cancun & surrounding areas
All of you have been very helpful! I knew I could count on you ladies. As far as I know, there will be no vegans, so maybe we will be OK. But I do think I will take the advise of asking the vegetarians that I am aware of, if there is something in particular they would like to see on the menu. Thanks to you all, Lizzy -

Lizzy replied to Karen's topic in Share your Wedding & Engagement Stories!
It has been great hearing all of your plans, being kept in suspense about your romantic getaways, and about how much in love you two are. I am so happy for you both. Yippeeeee for Mr. and Mrs. Lambert! Lizzy -
Dawn, my daughter is being married in Tulum on January 19, 2008. She is having the ceremony and reception at Ana Y Jose Beach Club which is partnered with the Ana Y Jose Casitas and Spa. We have also been looking for affordable options for our guests. We won't be staying at the resort. Please keep us posted on what else t you find. I have looked online at the places you have listed and I like them too. Lizzy

OOT Bags overboard
Lizzy replied to Darlsay's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
Would you mind giving more information on where you purchased your beach towels and how much they were? Maggie is wanting to add these to her OOT bags, but is having trouble finding affordable prices. Thanks a lot, Lizzy -
Just want to tell Tara how funny it was to read "ass backwards". That is a term my family has used for years! Do you think it is a Minnesota thing? It made me laugh...don't ya know, dere hey? Lizzy

Question about marriage blessing..
Lizzy replied to TammyB's topic in General Wedding Planning Information
Ann, the church will want you to have your first marriage annulled. Especially now with this Pope. He is extremely strict about the laws of the church. He has come down really hard on this subject. If you are divorced, no sacraments, and if you know someone at mass is receiving sacraments after a divorce, he expects you to report them to the priest or Bishop! Buzz and I are Catholic and are not supposed to be allowed. Can you imagine? I wonder what the Man Upstairs thinks about all of these man made laws? Off my soapbox...anyway, I hope this helps. Paul's family should be aware of this, but they may be expecting you to apply for the annullment. Tammy, the same for you. The priests really have no leeway on this at all. And annullments are expensive. Lizzy
