    Indecision!!

Well.... I could of course... but the prices are 10-15% before this date... and the temperature goes up a LOT after the date!!! I also don't want to take the emphasis away from my friends wedding day. Maybe I am being too picky By the way Shelley, your wedding website is great!!

    Indecision!!

Thanks girls! I was all set to have the wedding on May 15th 2008, but my girlfriend decided to have her wedding on the same date.. I don't want to make my friends choose between our weddings!! That date really worked for us because of the price change into low season and the temperature here in Mexico will still be comfortable for my oh-so-white Irish family!!!

    Indecision!!

Hi all, My name is Jen. I am originally from Northern Ireland but I have been living in Puerto Vallarta for the past 5 years. I met my fiance here, he is from Texas. We want to get married in Mexico as this is our home, BUT none of my family have been abroad before. Most have them have already said they wouldn't come if we do it in Mexico (thats OK by me! I wanted a small wedding anyway!!) We would like to do it either at La Casa Que Canta in Zihuatanejo or Las Ventanas in Cabo... but I can't make up my mind!!! I had originally planned for it to be in May 2008, but we have a ton of things on our plates right now... so I am thinking maybe I should postpone for a year?? HELP!!
  4. Thanks Leigh.. I am really curious to know what its like.. and if its worth the price tag!!!
  5. Hi all, Anyone been married at Las Ventanas in Cabo??
  6. Le Kliffe is a beautiful restaurant with an amazing setting. If you are thinking of a restaurant scenario, another couple you might consider are Vista Grill and La Palapa. Both totally different but super special in their own ways. If you want more privacy, there is an amazing house in Punta Mita called Casa China Blanca. (Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Corporate Retreat, Events | Casa China Blanca) Its pretty cheap to rent out and there are so many great local caterers here, its an amzing place for a wedding
  7. PS... the farther north out of PV you go... the nicer the beaches get. Grand Velas is worth considering in NV... its BEAUTIFUL
  8. I live in PV and after living through several rainy season down here, I can safely say its unlikely that it will rain at that time, but there is about a 10% chance it might. The rain normally starts in June. It didnt rain in May this year, it started a little bit the first couple of weeks in June... I love the month of May in PV, there arent nearly as many people and the weather is still as beautiful as March/April time...
  9. Hi, we would have no more than 45 people... it is really pricey and they are only quoting a 10% discount... which isnt a lot. I am not aure whether I should maybe go through DestinationWeddings.com - Destination Weddings and Honeymoons ro see if they can get me a better deal.... I dont mind paying for it if its unbelievable!
  10. Hi all! Has anyone been married at this resort or attended a wedding there? I think I want to have my wedding there...
  11. Hi You might want to try Grand Velas, Krystal, Marriott Casa Magna. Mismaloya is a beautiful area too, south of town
  12. I live in Nuevo Vallarta and have been here for the past 3 years. I know pretty much all the resorts in this area and also work for one... the Grand Mayan is beaurtiful with massive rooms that sleep up to 8 people. It is really reasonable too and 5 star!
