Cramming too much in??

I have done that tour myself and the great thing about the Outdoor Adventure is that you will be back at your resort by 2 or 3pm which leaves you the whole day to totally relax and have fun! I say do it... they don't make you do anything too active until you have to get on a mule (which isn't until approx 10am... by which stage your group will have woken up!!!!) -

You probably know this but in PV you can buy cool shot glasses with mexican people made out of clay stuck on them!! They are really cute and inexpensive. You can get them at the flea markets here. There is also a great ceramics/glass store just off of Basillo Badillo that sells really nice glass drink stirrers with iguanas etc on the top of them... -

I would definitely head north for a day... the town of Sayulita is amazing and has some of the best locations for weddings. Its a surfers town and its about 45 minutes away from Puerto Vallarta. There is a great hotel there called Villa Amor that I would check out... If you go farther north, there is a stretch of beautiful private homes along the beach that can be rented for weddings etc. I wrote on another thread about Casa China Blanca... its an incredible place.

Yeah... thats a really cool little place. Its really reasonably priced and the food is good. But if you are going out that far, you definitely should go see Mezzagiorno its the newest restaurant out in Bucerias which is very close to Sandrinas but the ambience is AMAZING. Its right on the beach/water front with a huge tree growing in the middle of the restaurant.

Her Salon is called Colorizsimo... I will try to get a copy of her price list for you. She is excellent at ecerything from color, extensions to up-dos. She has a great team who work with her. She speaks english and I guess the reason why she is so popular is because she really listens to her clients. I don't think she has a website but I will try to get an email address for you all!

I have eaten at Agave Grill. It is very Mexican... they make their salsa in front of you at the table... it is AMAZING!! They have a huge selection of tequila and the service is good. It is a very small and rustic restaurant... the only downside is that it doesnt have a view. I definitely recommend you try Barcelona Tapas for an amzing ambience and view. The guy who owns Agave Grill also owns Barcelona.... I have never heard of La Playita but I will ask around down here for you (I live in PV)

the Outdoor Adventure Tour is a great all-round tour for anyone who wants to have a fun day out. It has a bit of everything, speed boats, trucks, mules (!!?), canopy, rappelling, nature hiking... and the best thing about the tour is you are done and back at your resort by no later than 3pm so you can enjoy the sun for a few hours. I think it costs around $85 per person. It includes unlimited water and a snack at the end. Another great tour is the sunset cruise. The cool thing about this cruise is that the sail boats only have room for about 14 people, so it can be a really intimate experience. We have done the tour just by the 2 of us and it was a great way to meet other couples and we have also done it as a group of 14... which was a blast!! It costs about $70 per person, but that includes free bar and food.

Jaime, the favourite restaurant in PV is Pipi's... its a really fun restaurant, great service, cheap food and the epitome on Mexico! We love La Dolce Vita (on the malecon)... great venue, great view and great food. If you want to try a restaurant close to the Westin... you probably want to go to Portobellos or La Terraza. The lighthouse is a must-do in the Marina for drinks and ambience. I don't know if you are into sushi, but there is a restaurant called Tsunamis which the favourite local hang out and does amazing food! If you like live music our favourite is River cafe. at the weekends they ahve an amazing jazz/blues singer there... she is fabulous. And if you guys want to do something romantic with an amazing view (its pricey but worth it), Vista Grill is great. There are a ton of other places, but those are our favourites. A good suggestion for a rehearsal dinner is Barcelona. Its a tapas restaurant with a killer view.... You can tell we like to eat out huh?!!!

Jaime... this is soo weird. I worked for the Mayan Palace for almost 5 years and live about 2 minutes away from the resort in Nuevo Vallarta... So anything you want to know... I can help you with!!

you might want to check Puerto Vallarta Weddings, Event Planning and Catering Services and look at the site Casa China Blanca. My girlfriend had her wedding there and it was truly amazing.

What sort of wedding do you want? How many guests will you have?

Y'know its a weird situation! I picked the date first... She had decided on MArch for her wedding.. We hadn't discussed it until I called to ask her and she told me they wanted to change to the 15th May (which is when I told her I had already chosen the date!)..but she made out her invites and gave them out before I made mine!!
