    New Here!

Congratulations and welcome! You will find so much information here! I find myself doing tons of searches! Everyone is very nice and helpful too!
  2. Good one Kate. Definitely adding this to the list. I especially like the 'quote' about the buttons. LOL!

When we do, we are getting a fence for him to run around, but we got a quote this week and it's *so* expensive for what we want - go figure. So I will have to take pics of him in someone else's yard
  5. I love seeing everyone's pet pics! My baby Mason: I need to take some new pictures.
  6. I am sure whatever you choose will be beautiful! Just make sure to use your...
  7. Good job on getting past the initial cravings! I have a salt craving instead of sugar, but a taste of something sweet usually signifies the end of the meal to me. I keep York peppermint patties that have much less fat and do the job well. I am very bad about 'hiding' stuff from myself... so I agree with Christine and give it away! In a month you can reward yourself with a different treat.

They pump some chai 'concentrate' into the cup and add water to dilute it, then milk. Without the water it will taste richer, even if you use non-fat milk... I don't know what it is about it that is addicting to me... there are spices in it... think pumpkin pie but stronger... Ohhhhh! Is it morning yet?! Oooh the white mocha sounds good too!

They're like your second family for 2 minutes everyday! When I was in High school, my dad use to drive me to school every morning and there was one Tim Horton's drive thru worker that always jokingly said I was spoiled because of that (and I was - and still am!) anyways, she gave me the nickname "Princess" and use to write in in the cup-pencils they have on my cup every morning! Hey Princess! I pass a Tim Horton's in the morning too, they have some great breakfast sammies with egg and cheese! Probably a good thing they don't have my tea ... I would have to get both every morning!

For real. It's ridiculous. Or when I'm feeling like more of a purist, I get a "grande americano with extra room" to which I add a pretty good amount of soy milk. ;-) When I want something cold, I get an "iced grande 1-pump vanilla non-fat caramel macchiato" That's too funny Rachelle! I pull up to the SB drive-thru and they greet me with, "Good morning Paula, do you want your chai this morning?" I would really throw them for a loop if I tried to order mocha concoction! Oh yeah, and one of the girls there was the first to notice my engagement ring, (other than my family)!
  11. They both suit your complexion, but I will agree with some of the previous posts on the like the highlights for summer. I need to do something as well but because I have too many grey hairs now. They keep 'falling out' when I pull them... I have to stop doing that! Hehe!
  12. So sad my morning grande-non-fat-no-water-chai tea is gone already this morning! Am I going to have to upgrade to a venti?? What's your morning drink?

We have recently reserved a date with Claudia for Feb of next year, so I will be a Dreams bride too! I am so excited I feel like we are finally getting somewhere. We are going through the initial quote trying to make sure we add items, ask questions and make sure we don't miss anything!
  14. Very cool! I would also like to know about the bags

  16. Aladdin in 04 - It was fine, we were only there for a few hours to sleep and were at the casino a little bit. The Venetian this Feb, for a conference. Very nice hotel, nice rooms, a little too ornate for my taste, but definitely a lot of room in the suites. I was in the newer tower, Venezia, which seemed miles away from the shopping and the conference area, has its own pool and front desk. I liked the casino. Hated the pillows! Argh! Had them bring me one that was not feather, but was still hard to sleep on. There is so much to do at The Venetian. Treasure Island also this Feb, after 4 nights at The Venetian, the beds at TI were just wonderful! They also had feather pillows that I didn't care for at all. The room we got was much smaller, but I enjoyed the hotel, the restaurants, the clubs, the casino and the location. There is a tram to the Mirage next door and the Fashion Mall is on the other side. It is across the bridge from The Venetian. It is just a quick walk from the forum shops at Ceasar's. Next year we may somewhere else just for the experience, but would definitely recommend TI.
  17. Oh Melissa! What gorgeous pictures!! Muchas felicidades!!! I am just catching up on all the posts... can't wait to read some of your wedding details!
  18. Thank you! I will be running out to get the items I didn't have today... we leave tomorrow for her wedding! I will miss reading this forum for 5 whole days!
  19. My sister is getting married this weekend and I have made her a 'Bride's Emergency Wedding Day Kit'. There are many things she will have already, so I was trying to think about the little things that she may need (or we the bridesmaids) ... for emergencies. Here is what I have so far: tissues mouthwash baby powder (heard it is good for little stains on a wedding dress) pepto swabs Rolaids for hearburn clear earring backs nail file mints lint roller (I have lint emergencies, don't you?! Ok, maybe it's dog hair...) bobby pins lotion bandaids wet wipes super glue tampons sewing kit (also has little scissors, saftey pins) straws (to drink before ceremony without messing up lipstick) clear bag (in the back) to put it all in. Anything else you think she may need that I have forgotten? Thank you
  20. Thank you all for your help! And Angela... I amy have to borrow some of your tips too as our sunset times are very close!
  21. This may be a silly question, but how much time are you allowing for photography after the ceremony and before the reception? Do your guests go on to the cocktail area at that time? The sunset calendar says the sun will set at 5:38pm on the date we have chosen. Location Selection for Sunrise Sunset Calendar Thank you!
