  1. Pictures! I love seeing pictures! Thanks for sharing with us. Looks like you had a blast. One more week Sarah!
  2. Geeeeeeeeeeeeez! What is wrong with people?!? Sorry to hear about the horrid day you had... but you have it now and you can go to Cabo!
  3. I can usually do a search on the forum to find where to buy certain items. Last purchase were the men's Reef sandals with the bottle opener on the bottom that I saw on a post here ... FI loved them ... he told everyone during his surprise party that he is giving them to his groom's men! This is what I am looking for now that I cannot seem to find anywhere: I saw this picture on Sol's photography website. Help!
  4. Amber, those are excellent! I am very impressed! I really want to do a ticket STD, but I am creating a postcard of the location so I can get them done quickly. I am just awaiting a response from my photographer to make sure it is okay for me to use it. I'll give her props for it on the back.
  5. I just emailed her again yesterday since she has not responded to my email from 4/26. I know my wedding is not until Feb... but I need to know these things now! Hehe!
  6. Congrats! Hope your wedding day is perfect Sarah!
  7. Congratulations! I have to agree... everyone is gorgeous! Are those your sisters? I really like their dresses and the sideswept hair.
  8. Edyta, you look gorgeous! How wonderful that everything was just perfect! Congratulations! Have a great time with Sarah and Tammy tomorrow!
  9. They are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!

You have to keep in mind that they do normally close the bar down during dinner (which takes about an hour) and only table serve wine. But the actual reception site is ours till 10, which to me is long enough...if we are all still in the mood to party we can do so on the resort (and off my dime!!). So I don't htink you have to worry about being kicked out or anything like that... whew...this was a doozy! Hmmm... She has mine written up as 3:30pm for ceremony, 4:30-5:30 cocktail hour, 5:30-8:30pm dinner... only 3 hours. (Sunset is at 5:38pm).
  11. Details! Details!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am in the middle of doing this and my head aches!
  12. Beautiful Anny! Are you doing anything special for your legal wedding? Celebration afterwards or waiting for Cancun?
  13. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay Christa, Glenda and Melissa!
  14. I usually have a Starbucks chai latte on the way to work and then a Luna bar once I get there. If I have time at home, two low fat Eggo waffles with natural peanut butter, raisins and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for fiber. Yummy!
  15. Hi Kash, I voted 'no' just because it sounded like too many sweets. If you feel like you need to poke something into the fire, what about just marshallows? A few bags of those would be cheap, spend the rest of the $$ on more drinks
  16. Hi Christine! Yes, she sent off to get her SSN changed, but it has not come back yet. If they DO change it, she still needs a court order to have it changed at the DMV.
  17. Congratulations ! Doesn't it feel great?! I love that date by the way... 04/04/2008 4:00pm Mine is 02/02/2008 I have this *thing* about numbers
  18. This is really for my sister who got married last month... She has always been called by her middle name as her first is the same as our mother's, so she decided once married, she would have that as her first name, our last as her middle and married name as last, so dropping her first given name altogether. She began a new job soon after she returned from her honeymoon and her new boss said she should fill it the new employee paperwork with her new name since she was going to change it anyway. She has a marriage certificate, so her employee info and her new insurance has her 'new' name on it. She figured they knew what they were talking about, so she did it. Today she went to have her name changed on her driver's license. She waited and waited, got up there and they said they could not change it to what she wanted. Apparently since the 9/11 incident they are not allowed to have people change their middle name to their first and change their last name. Not sure I understand why, so maybe I missed a few details while listening to her rant ... so now she has to go to family court to get this all fixed! In the mean time, the only way she can have her employee paperwork changed is to have a notary be there when it is done! She is very upset because she is still in the process of moving into her new home, starting a new job where she cannot take time off to get all of this fixed and the guy that advised her to do this in the first place is out for several weeks! Oh, did I mention she is having to deal with all of this on her birthday too? Sorry for rambling, but be advised to look into the specifics if you plan on a name change.
  19. My vote is for veil as well. I think it is the one thing that says, "She is the bride"... I also like the way it looks blowing in the wind in many of the pictures I have seen recently.
