  1. I like your idea for colours. Ours will be bright green and white with some orange accents.
  2. Thanks! I finally found those Lord of the Rings toasting flutes I was looking for !!!
  3. Welcome to the forum Daniel! I am a Cuncun bride myself, but I am pretty sure I looked into Cozumel Palace at one point. I do love their decor and the fact that they are all-inclusive. I have only heard good things about it. If I remember correctly, it was not directly on the beach... it was on the water, so you can snorkel right there, but you have to walk down a bit to get to a beach. You may want to check into that if it ias important to you. Good luck on your search! This forum is full of great information!
  4. Veeeeery pretty! Congrats on finding the dress! I really like the ruffle detail a the bottom.

Pretty sure our wedding colours are going to be green and white, some orange accents, but invites will prob just green and white. Jilly, I am not sure... I am not liking the fact that it appeared to be different colours in these two pictures. This is the colour they have sold with this dress. I am liking the price difference of approx $30 online vs. $180 for this one. It is a very nice soft netting, but I am not going to wear it for very long.

  7. Thanks Cess... I just cannot believe the change in ceil colour from the first ones I posted and this one... It's the same veil!
  8. Muchisimas felicidades Anny! Mis mejores desos para el dia de tu boda! You are one of the first people I met on the forum... I am very excited for you!
  9. We knew Juan would do an incredible job... you two are so gorgeous... You must be estatic about getting your pictures! I like seeing more pictures of Edyta and Tammy as well. I forget, did you ask your guests to wear white or tan?
  10. Ok ladies, the bridal salon sent me a picture that they took as well. The veil does not look 'mocha' in this picture like it did with the ones with my camera.

That dress is just so amazing I keep scrolling back up and looking at it!!! I love what you have for your veil idea---- I think the length is perfect with that dress, and the single layer is perfect too because you want the detail of the back of your dress to stand out and not be "hidden" by the veil! I do agree tho about the color being a little off. I think the contrast of getting the veil in a slightly different shade of the dress is the right idea, but maybe something more of a cream color in the same veil? I'm so happy for you (Twinkie!) for finding your dress so quickly!! It's just absolutely amazing on you!!! Awwwww! I have actually been second guessing my choice now, but it has to be because of the veil in these pictures. This dress has been 'it' since the first time I tried it on, all others were compared to it. It seems a lot more plunging now that I see it in pictures too... Good luck at work today Maria!

With what just happened to Nicole (NHPT), at another resort, I am going to print off all my emails back and forth with Claudia in case I need to make reference back to them when I am there.

Yes she is a little scary! I really like the mantilla look - Can't wait to see it all come together!

And I know exactly what you mean about wanting to have a veil because I do too!! Even if its super windy!! I'm going to try your trick with the weights (I think it was fishing sinkers, right?) I am getting a 1 layer sheer veil too because I don't want it to totally hide the back of my dress. Nothing crazy! Just got off the phone with my MOH. I sent her the pictures too and she said it had to be the lighting because it did not look like that in the store... Anyway... I am still going to try and cancel the veil. Where are you getting your veil from Jilly? Yes they were tiny fishing weights, but I guess you can do the same with some little beads.

Ooooh nooo you didn't talk me out of it... I told them I wasn't so sure. You all confirmed it... the pictures did too... I didn't see it bunched up when I was there I closed out of that window, but it was a single layer, 52 inch I think? 3 inch plastic comb, the finish was just 'cut'.
  16. Yes, go to microsoft.com and search their clipart. Also, Aylee had a wonderful site with DIY instructions if you need them: Aylee bits » DIY: Boarding Pass Invitation / Save The Date

Ha! Your wedding was so beautiful! I love the long veil with your dress... I went through the customizing process on that site for a simple long veil and it was only $31 ! Thanks for the help! I will talk to the boutique owner tomorrow. I feel bad canceling it since I just ordered it. They are so nice though, I hope they understand.
