  1. Julesr: I forget who did/is going to do this, but I thought it was a cute idea: I pair of socks and a card. The note with the socks says, "So you don't get cold feet". Here is a pair: "Groom" Socks, Black | Bridal Accessories by Beverly Clark from Paradisus Resorts | Weddings and Bridal Melissa, your gift to your husband made me tear up again. That is such a thoughtful gift. I am probably going to do B-pics, but we are paying for everything ourselves, so we really shouldn't be getting anything else.
  2. I seem to spend quite a bit of time on BDW and researching for our wedding. The wedding planning is taking up a lot of time, but I enjoy it. Other hobbies of mine: Drawing/ painting Decorating Reading I think I need a new hobby

    hello

Hiya! Let us know what coast and time of year you are looking to have your wedding and we will send some ideas your way.
  4. Hi Jen! I like the first one, the side swipe rouching (sp?) is very flattering!
  5. I like 1 better I think because I don't like the ruffles on the second, but like the back piece on 2.
  6. I apologize if this has been posted somewhere before. I came across it last night when I was cleaning up my wedding links: Cudge.net - Holders
  7. Very pretty! Congratulations! Thanks for sharing. Nice tattoos too!
  8. Beautiful work Amy! Welcome to the forum!
  9. I saw your post and realized I had a ppt I had been working on with To-dos. Check out the attachment, I just posted it today: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...-calendar.html

    hello

Welcome! Do you know around what dates you are looking to have it?
  11. Here is my list of Wedding To-Dos with a calendar. This countdown starts at 7 months (July 2007) from my wedding date, but kept fine tuning the to-do list - and I am sure there are items I missed, so there is a notes area. I hope this can help some of you that are still looking for a list. If you need to add or change the calendars, you can get them from here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/te...043131033.aspx There are several items below that did not make the attachment since I had completed them already: 11 months Make sure passports are in order Decide on a wedding budget Find your wedding style Choose a wedding date Choose a wedding location 10 months Look into marriage license requirements and confirm them with the local tourist board Find a local wedding coordinator Put together a wedding guest list Book location 9 months Create wedding website Book videographer Book photographer Start trying on dresses 8 months Organize guest list Send out save the dates Invite attendants Wedding To Dos calendar and notes.ppt
  12. Hmmm... I don't think I would like it for the mother of the bride at the actually ceremony. Maybe for the welcome dinner or another night out.
  13. Is it for a dinner before your wedding or for some other party? I think it would be nice as long as your hairstyle is simple. It is kind of like an optical illusion print, so keep it simple
  14. We decided to have it outside of hurricane season because neither of us wanted to deal with that stress. We had already had a trip to Cancun canceled once before because of a hurricane. BUT you can get much better rates in October. Like the others said, just be sure to have trip insurance for those things you cannot control.
  15. That's a tough one. I am sure there are some kind of paint pens you could use from a craft/art store to get it on there, but it would have to be freehand- time consuming. I see what you mean about the stickers, they would eventually wash off. I am not coming up with any bright ideas right now, but I may go to Michael's tomorrow. If I find anything that could work, I will let you know.
