Not just in my planner, treo, notebook, meeting printouts, post-its... oh yeah, they never went into the wedding binder! So I made my own.

Just making sure that grammatically it's correct, as well. Any time you use one at the end of the sentence, one goes at the beginning. Same for question marks (always upside down at the beginning) Quote: Originally Posted by PVBride What is the literal translation on Muchos Gracias? Would it be "Many Thanks"? Yes! I carry it around with me now in a clear folder!

  5. Why should the wedding ring be worn on the fourth finger? Thumb represents your Parents. Second (Index) finger represents your Siblings . Middle finger represents your-Self. Fourth (Ring) finger represents your Life Partner. The Last (Little) finger represents your children. Firstly, open your palms (face to face), bend the middle fingers and hold them together - back to back. Secondly, open and hold the remaining three fingers and the thumb - tip to tip (As shown in the figure below): Now, try to separate your thumbs (representing the parents)..., they will open, because your parents are not destined to live with you lifelong, and have to leave you sooner or later. Please join your thumbs as before and separate your Index fingers (representing siblings)...., they will also open, because your brothers and sisters will have their own families and will have to lead their own separate lives. Now join the Index fingers and separate your Little fingers (representing your children)...., they will open too, because the children also will get married and settle down on their own some day. Finally, join your Little fingers, and try to separate your Ring fingers (representing your spouse). You will be surprised to see that you just CANNOT, because Husband & Wife have to remain together all their lives - through thick and thin!! ISN'T THIS A LOVELY THEORY?

I did speak to clients of Michael's for references and all were good but there is still something preventing me from making the final decision. Can't quite put my finger on it! Have you talked to either one Jen? What about their availablility? Claudia has several people on her staff, all with different styles. Maybe see which one you would like best, see if they are available for your date. Same for Michael & Petra. That might help make the decision

My daughter has chosen to go with Petra Maurus photography(cancun-wedding-photography.com) Lots of great pictures on their site and reasonable packages. Has anyone used them? Good morning! I just did a search of the forum to see it anything was posted about her, but it doesn't look like anyone has here. You will be the first to post about her work! There are a few links that came back on 'Maurus', but they were more questions about photographers and not people that had used them. How is the planning going?
  9. I do, but they are at home. (My mom's recipes, she is an excellent Mexican cook!) I'll get back to you.
  10. I think Chitchen Itza is a must if you are looking for impressive Mayan ruins in that area. Valladolid is near there, nice little colonial town. Matt Adcock just did that nice last minute wedding there. Playa del Carmen would be nice and quiant, you could get to CI and to Tulum, Isla Mujeres. Yucatan Today - Valladolid, Yucatan, Mexico
  11. Looks like you had a great time! The ones in the boat have a very nice colouring.
  12. Congratulations! You two looked gorgeous! (Great detailed review btw...)
  13. Hey Laura, just came across these stamps that match some of your choices: Sparrow on Tree - Postage Postage from Zazzle.com Okay, so ignore the fact they are US stamps and you are in Canada, ha! Oops!
  14. Love them Tammy! You are gorgeous! Are you going to make a photo book?

  17. Update... I was already here when my co-worker came in. She saw her name plate and blinked a little as she put her stuff down. She said she was scared for a second as everything was blurry, BUT she had a 'Salty Dog Cafe' cup on her desk that she could read just fine... As she looked closer whe noticed they were printouts... she laughed and laughed! She thought it was a good joke and wondered how I did it. She called her husband to tell him.
  18. Laurab did one, it used to be in her siggy pic. It was very nice. I may try it. She bought the shell at Hobby Lobby and glued ribbon to the bottom and added some sand.
  19. Congratulations ladies! You deserve it!
