  1. I voted for the 3rd option. I think less is more since you have the detailingon your dress and the ivory will be soft with the dress too.
  2. Buy them both! Change into the red ones for the reception!
  3. Jamy is correct Main course is also referred to as 'plato fuerte' it translates as 'strong plate'. I would not add 'los' infront of 'postre'. It simply means dessert. We can each control our own side.
  5. Yay! Please let us know how it goes. I looked into it not too long ago for underarms and it was out of my budget for now.
  6. Well, it was the first Christmas without my parents and sister, so it didn't feel like Christmas for me. We will see each other in Mexico in a month though. I was glad to have one of my sisters with me on Christmas Eve. Since our wedding is so close, we decided not to give each other presents and we were only buying for FI's niece and nephews. My parents and sister sent me some things, small items since we are are spending $ to go to Mexico. I received lot of thoughtful goodies, but these were my two favourite items: A Frida Kahlo day planner for 2008 from my MOH. So many interesting paintings every other page in the planner. My FI gave me a guitar! I mentioned it in passing that I wanted one when I heard a song I used to play called Romanza. He actually bought me one! I have not played in 18 years, but it brought tears to my eyes. I used to play my little heart out.
  7. Mrs: JessicaLovesBrian Very active on the forum, sound advice and makes me laugh. BtB: mauraw We clicked, she is a sweetheart. Always has nice things to say... a funny drunk story to get you laughing ... and she is very helpful to those on the forum.
  8. There is no charge that I know of... at least not that they told me about... and they know I want to reherse on Friday evening. There is a charge for a rehersal dinner, but we are not going to reserve a space for the dinner, we are just going to show up.
  9. Welcome! I am a Dreams Cancun bride as well. Let us know how we can help!
  10. I sooooooooo need this for Monday, I am doing Christmas Eve dinner! Thanks Alyssa!
  11. I asked about this when I sent mine a few weeks ago and they said that even if they are hand canceled, they get sorted through the machines which would have defeated my purpose - some ink smearing - don't ask. Maybe it was specific to our PO or they were not in the mood to hand cancel them
  12. Have you been anywhere in Columbus to try on dresses yet? I went to a ton of places and ended up at the first place I had been to, Girls in White Dresses, they are a small boutique downtown in the Arena district. Wendy's Bridal in Dublin had a dress I really liked from their private collection that was in the $400 price range. They have a lot to choose from. If you have not been there yet it's worth checking out. I was so surprised the sizes are a lot larger than I am normally, so I would have a hard time buying a wedding dress online. That's just me though, I know several ladies on here have bought beautiful dresses online.
  13. I just tied it up... Your poll options made me laugh my butt off!
  14. I clicked to see the larger pictures... the dress is gorgeous on you!
