  1. Besides, I think the majority of the guest list will either know one way or the other if they can make it. There will always be a few maybes!!
  2. We sent ours out 6 months in advance. I think you need to give them at least that to save money. Also, be aware of the package prices when you send them out, and maybe plan accordingly. Right now was great for us because the air is at an all time low- that is why I needed them to rsvp this far in advance. Who knows what the rates will be a month or 2 before the wedding!
  3. I combined the invitations and stds, and asked for an rsvp to the std. I don't think it is necesary to send an invite out after they rsvp. You are going to need to know a head count way before the wedding, so that is why you would want them to rsvp to the std. I do plan on sending more information closer to the date, but only to the people going! I hope this helps!

  5. I can acutally find rates cheaper myself by going online too... so it is hard to tell my guests to pay the higher rate. I wonder how that works. My TA is my friend too, and that is why I am using her... Do some TA's charge more than others? Or are her rates higher because she is new at being a TA?
  6. I was just wondering....how many guests used your travel agents you provided? I am getting a lot of people saying they can find their own packages cheaper on their own.... so, how do I go about blocking off rooms through our travel agent? I don't know how to do this? And how do I go about asking if they will be using our travel agent or their own?
  7. Moinka, you emailed me at my aol address for these songs, but when I reply, the email I send gets returned to me.... let me know if there is another address I can try!!

  9. and, I don't think I saved too much money I guess that is why I am wondering.
  10. I think you might be thinking of someone elses.... I did my own, along with a magnet, but have not posted them yet. I did 100 of them. The magnets were 150.00, materials were 50.00, and printing was 115.00. But, these will serve as my std's and invites. I don't think you have to do both... I am having them rsvp to the stds, so what would I send out more invites for. I do plan on send an info packet closer to the date, but then only to the people who are coming. I think that I would recommend having them done for you- just because they were a hassle to me, and are nothing special...
  11. How much $$ did your invites or STD's cost? I ended up doing the save the dates myself, and am really wondering if I saved any money and if it was worth all the b.s.!

  14. Yea, that is where we had it!! I really liked the park, and it was BIG! And the bathroom facilities were nice too.
  15. I was just going to let people know that I have the small files of Bob Marley- Could you be Loved and Izzy-Somewhere over the Rainbow, both of which work to add to your personal wedding website. Just email me if you would like me to email one to you.
  16. If you don't mind. I was wondering what the name of the songs and who the artists were too?? Great song choices for the slideshow..
  17. I am pretty sure we had an anniversary party at that park... it is up near Andover? I can't remember the town's name, but it looks really familiar. I remember the lake, and there was a golf course too- a great place for a party!
  18. ok, you guys changed my mind. I thought it might be fun to have... I went to a DW before, and they had those lighted necklaces and bracelets.. and believe it or not, they were a hit.
  19. We definatley wanted to go the AI route, and I don't think there are any in Hawaii.... Otherwise we would have!
  20. Yea, I want to do some kind of koozie, and thought these were different. I am weird and I want them to match my theme, and have not found any custom ones that I love yet. Our colors are pink and brown, and I am not sure I want koozies those colors. Also, I already have hibiscus flowers in my theme... those are as Hawaii as you get!? Maybe I should have justs gone there!
  21. I should note that instead of a formal reception, we are having a beach party with cocktails and appetizers.... I also want fire dancers... Has anyone had them at EDR? I contacted the coordinator, but have not heard back from her.
  22. What do you think about me putting these things in my OOT bags- We are going to Mexico- not Hawaii. When I think of Leis though I think beachy. I just don't want to if you guys think that it seems goofy...
