Ok, I am ordering the same dresses, BariJay #249.... and 2 of my bridesmaids are ordering them today! We are getting married this coming January! I was told they will be here in about 8 weeks- sometime in November. I think a lot of stores try to scare you by saying you need to order them now so you order from then that day rather than looking elsewhere- just my opinon. By the way- how much are you paying for them? I was quoted 150.00, and even 160.00, but the last store I went to they were only 108.00!! Bre, are you concerned with the Hurricane? I have not contacted Valeria yet to see how they go about this. If the hurricane was to damage the resort, so you think it will be repaired by January?

It actually makes me feel better that you all are going through the same thing. (sorry) I just don't get it, and think it is kind of rude that they can't let us know either way. I wonder if it is this bad for local weddings..!? I mean, we had some of our guests actually be asked to be invited, and then they didn't even rsvp, and have not heard anything from them! I am wondering if it is too much to ask to pay- our tickets are 1180.00 per person for 4 nights at El Dorado Royale ( AI, Direct Flight) I KNOW some of our guests thought this price was ridiculous.... My friend even relayed the message to me from them. But, we knew that was going to happen....

We sent our invites out in the beginning of June, and asked for an rsvp by July 31st. (gave them 2 months) Out of the 100 invites we sent out, we only heard from 42 people, all of whom are coming... No one else rsvp'd. Don't you think you should rsvp whether you are or are not attending- even if it is a destination wedding? This is frustrating. We are just assuming the rest aren't coming, and so we are not planning for them- for dinner, oot bags etc. I will be kind of upset if they decide to book at last minute.. they could at least give us a heads up if they are contemplating coming- right?

I just found out that I chose BLDG 55 Gazebo.. what do you guys think of it? I kind of just guessed since I have never been there before... now I am nervous, although briopens says it is secluded...

Bre, when are you guys arriving? We will be there the 14th-21st. Maybe we can meet..?

Please post these locations! I am getting married there in January- the same day as Bre but at 4:00, and I have never been to the resort! It would be great to see these locations!

This was used as our invite/std... I did not include "formal invite to follow", because the majority will respond to your save the date. I don't think both are necessary... it is a good place to save money. Instead for those who rsvp'd yes to the std/invite, we will be sending an info. packet to them about a month prior to leaving!

This is what our letter said that we enclosed with our magnet: We used cards and printed the Dear F & F letters on the inside, and then printed the travel info- (4 per sheet and had kinkos cut them) and inserted them along with the magnet into the card. It worked really well and everyone thought they were great! Final Info. Sheet.doc Dear F&F Letter.doc

For those of you who had linen, did it wrinkle? I realize linen usually has wrinkles, but were they bad?

Since I noticed there are a few dresses for sale on here, I was wondering if your guys are selling their suits? I am having such a hard time finding a suit that I like, and the season is pretty much over, so I thought a used one might be a last resort... Trace wants a light colored suit- not linen that is a 42L jacket, 36" waist, and no pleats or cuffs on the pants.... J.Crew had the perfect one- the Italian Chino jacket and pant, but they are out of the pants... Any advice

For those of you doing pink dresses, what color of flowers are you doing? I have pink dresses, and I think pink flowers might be too much.... possibly white?

I tried to add some to my cart, but it keeps returning to that same page and shows nothing in my cart.... I think they might be out.

well I showed the bridesmaids te bari jay #249..... thye love it. So, we have to try them on, but most likely it is the one!
