Thanks so much for all the suggestions. I loved all the songs suggested. Last night was fun me and FH had a blast listening to the songs and figuring out which is an us type song. We're going to use all the suggestions (LOL) and make a CD to play during the cocktail hour and dinner.... FH thought of that! AND... we came to a tough decision. OUr first dance song is between 3: Lifehouse- You and me (stripped version) this song has some attachments to us because we saw them in concert a couple years back. I loev this song! David Gray- This years love: something about this song just gives me goosebumps, don't know what it is. But almost every time I get emotional listening to it. OR Tim McGraw/Faith Hill: It's your love - I know it wasn't suggested but FH suggested it and I was in shock because it's country. I know it's unoriginal but the lyrics are perfect for a wedding and it's only 3 minutes 30 seconds! haha Thanks again pals! Thanks to you we now have 3 great CD's!! I know, I have just over a month to go and we still can't decide on a first dance song..... We can't agree at all... so now I'm comming to you all for some good ideas He wanted Nickelback "miss you" I said no way.... then he said "hey there delilah" and I replied wtih how do we dance to that?! It can't be too long, FH isn't the best dancer and I don't want no 5 minutes with all eyes on us.. haha I love country but whenever I suggest anything to him he says no almost immediatley. I wanted etta james "at last" he said nothing like that or frank sinatra. I'm at loss... and I don't know where to go from here. His taste and mine are very different. SO I'm going to lean towards his taste (alternative/rock) but with some good lyrics, not too long, and something danceable. Please Help!
