  1. Oh noooo Stephanie, I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope your lil pup is ok. I know that must have been pretty scary and your nerves must be all messed up. So was this woman backing up?
  2. You are such a gorgeous girl Andrea. I love your photos and all the colors. That one picture with the moon in the background on the beach is so cool. I'm sorry you weren't impresssed with most of the 800 photos, that sucks big time.
  3. LMAO that's awesome Glenda, that was a good laugh for sure! I need to sign him up for class 1 and 4. He pretty much aces the rest (for now anyway) hahaha

I'm supposed to receive my order by mid December this year and I can't wait!!! That's wonderful news, I'm glad i was able to help. I forgot to mention that about the veils and shoes. I didn't qualify because your order has to be over $500 (I think) but I did qualify for free shipping. I was really impressed with them.
  5. Oh you guys are all just too cute for words! Thanks for taking some pictures... that's so cool you all hit it off so well. I've never seen a black squirrel before your picture. Liam is adorable, you should get him into modelling. That boy is going to be a heart breaker one day with the girls. Tammy I agree we need a group trip to Vegas!
  6. If anyone wants to borrow this by all means do. I borrowed some from Janet's welcome letter I got some pictures to go with directions on how to find the cheaper taxi's in PV. I plan on sending this in an email to my guests along with my welcome newsletter. I'm trying to make their vacation go as smooth as possible. I can't attach the PDF version for some reason so here's the word version. sorry. Doc6.doc
  7. Wow, i'm finally looking at this again. Thought some of you girls may find this thread a good one to bookmark! I love it, thanks tammy!

  12. Yep complete FAILURE... go back tomorrow right when it opens and get in your butt in that pretty lil dress. hehe kidding. I'm so happy for you that you chose your dress. I love it and I can't wait to SEE you in it!
  13. Great post Shelley - you got me all teary eyed too. I will definitely be doing something like this, just not sure yet. Thank you I'm positive I'll be using one of the wording options you provided.
  14. Hmmm what about "daughters" by John mayer? I love the chorus in that song...
  15. good idea Jill - I'm exhausted and tired from wedding planning. I'm in bed playing arcade getting nothing accomplished. I'm a lazy lil bride 2 be today

This is something like what he was talking about although I bet you could fine some cheaper ones: Neck Lanyards & Name Tags Promotional Products by 4imprint I could see myself going over board with these cuz I'd want something nicely designed on them. im looking at 53 guests too and i know some would think they were gay and wouldn't wear them. That would really piss me off after buying them. haha Im getting angry just thinking about the attitude I'd get. Good suggestion though Jamy thanks. Maybe add a monogram on it. heheh ok maybe I shouldn't go overboard that would be cheesey. lol Now I have to decide... ah decisions decisions.
  18. That maggie dress is stunning!!! Courtney I can't wait to hear your decision. Good luck and I hope you have fun today
  19. Hi Anna welcome to the forum. I took a look at your site and I love your dog section. AMAZING photographs you have the touch and skill which seperates a good photgrapher from an AMAZING one.

The only thing that I came up with is giving each person a ribbon and they have to tie it on in some fashion. Then people can mingle amongst themselves - knowing who is in the party and who isn't. Of course - if you are having a private event, this suggestion may not help you! But that's all I plan to do I agree that people can mingle and remember names at their own rate! I think I'm going to do the name sticker thing because I am a people pleaser haha I have 53 guests so quite a few from both sides of family (all guests are family except 3) I like the ribbon idea for your wedding entourage. No as tacky as the name stickers! For example you could do "Famous Couples" one night. Instead of a name tag you make tags with famous couples. You hand them out beforehand (or when people arrive to a certain location at the resort) and then they have to find their counterpart. For example Aunt Jean's tag reads "Wilma". Now Aunt Jean has to go find "Fred". When she finds him they will introduce each other and start mingling, etc. You can do "Zack Morris"-"Kelly Kapowski", etc. Or you can do drink names. Like someone will be "Buttery" and the other person will be "Nipple". You get the drift. Its just a way to mingle and get your guests talking to each other and it helps differentiate them from other resort guests. Oh man this would be a hit! For 53 people I fear it would be alot of work and I'm lazy. Hmmm I need to think about this idea but I don't think it's cheesey Glenda Quote: Originally Posted by Hopels Also sort of cheesy, but you could do a sort of who's who scavenger hunt... you could come up with a cute/funny fact about each person and enclose a copy of the facts in your OOT bags. Not cheesey. i originally (back in jan) wanted to do a photo scavenger hunt but I don't know now *sigh* so much to do in so little time. I'm thinking of that spanish flash card idea too, but I don't know how to incorporate names on the cards.
  21. Oh I am so happy they turned out for you Tammy! Thanks for posting the review now I'm going to go ahead and order my guestbook. I feel much more at ease knowing you gave them an A+
  22. Did anyone do nametags for the welcome dinner? Almost all of my family has now suggested buying those "My name is" stickers. I think they are so terribly tacky. My brain is dead and I can't be creative enough to think of something that would work. Like "Hi my name is Lucy - aunt of bride" is the only tacky solution I cant think of. Ideas? Suggestions? I'm all ears
  23. Wow good deal tammi! I like the neckline on it. Sooo pretty, cant wait fr your big day!
