I'm so excited!!!!!!

Ditto... I keep getting excited, then let down -
Heidi I wish I knew some words to comfort you through this difficult process. All i know is that time will heal your pain. I've never been through your situation but I think you're handling it better than anyone else would. That's a good place for your brother, sister and yourself to go. Think of the happy times when your Dad was in good spirit with you. You're such a strong girl. So much has happenned to you already in 2007. . . You will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We love you girl- stay strong!

OK he NEEDS to go to bed LOL I'm dying to see the pictures of both the dress and veil. You must be on cloud 9... except $230 is pretty pricey, what all do they have to do besides adjusting the sweetheart? I hera ya on being a lil bit taller My short stubby legs do nothing for me -
Laura that's fabulous. i'm so proud of you girl. 7 in 12... wowzers. Congrats it must feel so good to know you can do it. Thanks Amy for those meal ideas. I know sugar is such a killer. FH is all about ZERO sugar in the house. Grocery shopping takes forever because we (well HE) reads the labels on everything. Today at the ice cream shack i brought protein powder form home and used their milk, bananas, berries and pineapple to make me a shake for lunch. Morning I had 2 hard boiled eggs. For dinner I was a good girl yet again and had brocolli with lemon on top as well as salmon in a garlic butter sauce. i know butter is bad but it was the healthy not really butter stuff. hahaha Now I AM going to do my workout. promise.

JT's teaser pictures were amazing. Your wedding was a memorabe one. I love Greece, hopefully one day I'll get to go see it for myself. Glad your back home safe. -

But, I did have a salad for dinner and a grilled chicken pita for lunch and a boiled egg and 1 piece of whole wheat toast for breakfast. So, that candy did not throw me off that much. Moving is such a great workout. You must be one sore girl today. Good job on the skittles, I'm not much of a candy person myself. SO staying away from sugar isn't a big deal to me. but it must have been hard for you. I hate it when it's just sitting there looking at you calling your name to eat it LOL Quote: Originally Posted by Adamsgrrl I am also trying to lose 5 lbs in 10, 9 weeks. I eat 5-6 small meals a day. I force myself to run 30 minutes each day and then get on the bike for 30 minutes, do 300 crunches on a workout ball, and 300 leg lifts. I hate it. But I have to do it. Monika Thanks Monika. Good luck to you as well. Working out an hour and a half is totally going to get you to your goal weight. You're doing it the right way. I am not. 2 weeks to go and I'm panicking. I will fit my dress but I just want to look good on the beach. Jill how's that condy crawford video? I heard from a friend it's actually a good workout and moves at a good pace. I was a bad girl last night and I didn't (cna't beleive I'm admiting this) do my workout. Today I will though, I keep telling myself. The killer is going to be helping out at the ice cream place today. All those milkshakes calling my name. hehe Good luck girls I think today is going to be hard for me.

It was hard Jill! But I'm proud of myself for doing it. Now I have to go work out and I'm not wanting to. I'd rather have a nice relaxing bubble bath.

SO, I need a very low cal snack with some protein in it that I can eat when I get home from boot camp. Any suggestions? Ummm I love carrots or cucumbers, don't know if that's good prior to a workout. You should treat yourself to a protein shake after bootcamp. I put in protein powder, OJ, a banana, some vanilla yogurt and 3 strawberries. Oh and ice too. Blend it up, it's soo yummy. That's super jill! Wow, with your double workouts I kow you'll see results. I'm so proud of you. I don't like working up a sweat. I ate a light yogurt, a banana, a lean cuisine, and a pork chop, and lots of water. Not my ideal menu, I usually have salad, but I'm not that hungry tonight so I just ate the porkchop.I love bananas too. They have lots of potassium in them too I think. We can all do this! You're right we can do this. Gotta keep saying that to myself. It's so hard. Thanks Kash about the shredded wheat tip and recipes. I'm going to try the salad tomorrow. I love balsamic. We ended up having chicken and corn on the cob tonite (I know carbs). I added a side of steamed brocolli while FH added some potatoes which looked so good.

As gross as it is, I hear from people I work, who have done it, that you lose 3 pounds. Atkins I thought about it but I know I would fail miserably. I love carbs. Don't we all? I'm just going to limit my carbs like some other girls suggested.

I really wanted my whole day to be photographed and Aldo was a bit too pricey for me. he does do really good work though. He gets back to emails in a timeley matter too. Good luck. -
OK, figured I would start a new thread so we can share our experiences in this last lil bit. I'm going to need all the motvation in th world to drop these last 5 pounds. 19 days to go.... So far today I had yogurt(low fat, low sugars) with grape nuts (yep I needed some form of carbs but I only put in a little). For lunch I had celery sticks and carrots. Just had a banana for a snack.Don't know yet what I'm doing for dinner. Gosh this is going to be tough. Oh and I'm working out tonite with FH, he pushes me hard. He used to be a body builder so he kinda scares me too when it comes to the weights LOL

2 months, 2 weeks, 2 days - Diet/Exercise advice?
~Melissa~ replied to B&G's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
I'm all for crash dieting now.. hahaha this is the result of being lazy. I deserve it -
That's understandable Christa especially since youve been F****d in the past. Funny how you post this because I was just about to write a thread pretty similar. I had this amazing job lead as a personal banker aproving mortagages and stuff which is differnt than my usual work. Anyway I was pumped all week long to hear from the branch manager who stated earlier n the week "he would hire me in a second". Guess not cuz I just got an email from his boss the regional manager who said my resume had only accounting experience thus no finance experience. I'm totally bummed. We can be bummed together if you want Christa I HATE job hunting.

What I would and wouldn't do again...
~Melissa~ replied to gkashmira's topic in General Wedding Planning Information
I love this thread.... I just re-read it form the beginning. Alot of useful information I've gathered: I am happy we're doing a welcome dinner, glad I found a photographer I love, happy we got the basic cake and relaxed about having our own playlist instead of DJ. I think i've already spent about 20 hours on the music and it's not even done yet. i hope it's worth it... I'm still undecided on rose petals or bubbles? And undecided on SPANX... -
Very sad. I guess I was ignorant to think this doesn't go on in the schools anymore. I'm so appalled by this story. Thanks Christine for the update.
