Just to let you know we filed with the national benefits center (chicago lockbox) June 6, 2007 and we just had our interview on Feb 5, 2008. It takes a long time depending on which city your paperwork gets routed to. We had a mix of jacksonville and new orleans. It's such a crazy process. Just make sure you have as much proof of your marriage as possible for the interview: his birth certificate from canada with both his parents names on it(he has to apply for this from the province he was born in as it's probably different than the birth certificate he has), any joint financial document in both of your names (loans, mortgages, insurance, bank accounts etc), pictures as proof of your marriage and relationship, then all the rest of your immigration paperwork already filed.
