I agree it's getting pretty scary out there. Yesterday i paid $1.35 for a head of lettuce when it was .88 cents 3 months ago. That over a 50% increase!!! I'm seeing the costs increase significantly in our groceries and like Christa said we're not putting away as much savings as we used to. When it comes down to it, I know there are people who have gotten through much worse. For example one of our project managers at work (I work for a construction company btw) grew up living on the streets, going from orphanage to orphanage, enlisted in the military, served 25+ years, got his masters degree and now is one heck of a project manager. The other day while we were at a meeting I asked him if he was hungry and if so we should go grab a bite to eat. His reply to me; "I'm not that hungry, I've felt what hunger feels like". When I hear things like that from people I know I have a greater appreciation for what i have. I guess I don't have it that bad afterall. Sorry this was so long lol

Welcome to the forum! We got married at The Riu Jalisco in Nuevo Vallarta, it's a gorgeous beach. Great choice!

Oh don't' worry or stress. You got time on your side. Pv is an amazing place and there are many venues to have a beautiful wedding. Do you know how many people are going for the DW? have you tried using a different font for the date along the bottom and perhaps bolding it so the green is more apparent? maybe a font like copper plate?

I've been to both Buenaventura and the Villa Premiere. We spent out honeymoon in October 07 at the Buenaventura and although there was lots of constructions going on we felt that it was a great choice for a honeymoon. It's a smaller resort so it seems it's more on a personal level. For instance the servers and bartenders all knew us as the newly weds and would joke/visit with us constantly. We also met some other guest staying at the resort and had dinner with them a night or 2 and made a huge volleyball tournament with all the guests at the resort. So much fun. The location is key with this resort being so close to the malecon and be sure to bring your walking shoes! The rooms are already renovated and are nice and clean. Some photos of the Buenaventura the pools and restaurant on the top left side hammocks on the beach! Very nice touch and super relaxing. The Premier on the other hand is more elite and a 5 star I would say. Much more quiet and laid back. The pool was never busy when we were there. The food is amazing though and totally take advantage of the spa services. I would recommend going south. I live in the north western part of Florida and even though we have some gorgeous white beaches I would not go to the beach in January! It gets pretty cold here especially with the humidity. it kind of chills you to the bone, KWIM? Key West would be great and maybe look into Clearwater.

Just checked out your blog. I really admire your style Samantha. I love shooting photos and it's my newest hobby. I hope you don't mind answering a question of mine, how do you get shots on the beach with the couple kissing and the sunlight hitting the lens a certain way to create that neat effect? Was it by accident? I'm sure it was planned but how do you obtain those results?

Don't know much about Clearwater but me and DH are thinking about taking a trip there for our first anniversary in October. If we decide to go I can PM you and I can check out some things for you.

My area is good just sucks being stuck at home. I'm dying to get out already... but best not to venture out in the wind in case of flying debris. Plus they closed down the major bridge which i always take Supposively the worst is yet to come (east side of eye)

Never been but DH & I always wanted to go to Hershey park. They were featured on the travel channel as one of the top 10 roller coaster parks in the USA. Gotta love the rush!!
